Wouldn't matter if you 10-0 or 0-10 still don't like you. Don't feel special I don't like a lot of schools around the area. Yours just happens to be at the top of the list.

I really like our chances in this game. We defend the run much better than the pass. Plus, I feel like our guys have a little fire lit under them now. We are 3-1 in our last 4 games and I feel like this is a much different team than the first half of the year.

3 wins against teams that were 3-7, 0-10, and 0-10. Really not much to get excited about.

Giles has good size on both sides of the line. Stop #24 and you stop Giles.

Easy solution is to win your region games. This system you know exactly what you need to do to make the playoffs. What if a 4a team wins against a 9-1 3a team and another 4a team beats a 1-9 5a team, you think the team playing the 5a school played a tougher team.

Spring Hill played all non region games up. The teams Spring Hill beat win a combined 7 games. I know that's not great. The teams Lawrence and Giles beat won a combine 7 games together. They all beat each other but Spring Hill is screwed with a better overall strength of schedule.

TSSAA really screwed the pooch on this one. Out of the 3 way tie the team with the better overall strength of schedule is left out.

Team C would be out because of overall wins. It would then go back to head to head of the 2 left

If they win Friday they are in unless Spring Hill wins and Father Ryan wins.

The fact that a 4A team could potentially get in the playoffs based on the simple fact they picked up a victory over a terrible 2A team that won't even make the playoffs is a true black eye for the TSSAA. First tie breaker SHOULD be total wins over in class OR above opponents.

Yes it should. And even worse a team can get in by beating 3 teams with a combined 3 total wins.

It all depends on how things shake out. The top 2 teams are playing Friday night for first place. While I don't think it makes a huge difference either way, it's still worth watching. Both are good football teams that will come well prepared either way. Both are darn good on the offensive side of the ball, and underrated on defense. They can be sneaky good any given Friday.

 

The 3 and 4 remain unset. 3 teams are vying for 2 spots. All 3 have had a tough year, but I wouldn't sleep on any of them. They will be tough outs regardless. Especially one school in particular that I think should never be underestimated.

Still don't know who the 3 and 4 will be til Friday. But the 1 and 2 are really good teams. If Spring Hill ends up the 3 they are pretty athletic and have a strong offense but have had a rough season on defense. They could possibly beat a 2.

Thomas always expresses interest in jobs but I don't see him going back into the classroom and taking a pay cut to do it.

The top two are very good teams. A lot of athletes and team speed. Both have pretty prolific offenses that have put up a lot of points. The three and four teams have not had seasons that they have hoped for but can be a tough matchup for some.

So Giles gets rewarded for beating two teams that are 0-10.

If that happens I think Spring Hill would be the 3 based on record of teams played. That would make Lawrence the 4 with head to head with Giles.

Spring Hill is still trying to find itself defensively. The offense can score but defense has been the problem this season. There could possibly be over 100 total points in this game. Has the potential to be a very good game or a blowout. I think most thought before the season started that this game would be for the region title now Spring Hill can only hope to play spoiler.

If you look I started the thread talking about the game Friday. All y'all talk about is how the coaches suck and how much talent you have.

I really hope y'all are not living in the dream world thinking you are going to get osteen. There is a reason he didn't stay the first time. You guys blame Walt for the drop in the program but O'Connor and osteen would still be there if they had not seen the talent drying up. I just feel for the next guy that comes in with the expectation you guys have state championship or see you later

Tullahoma is not very good. Page should win by as much as they want. And coming off a tough lose and going into an open week I'm sure they are looking to rebuild some momentum.

Giles is still struggling to find it self and Spring Hill is coming off an off week and it's first region win over Tullahoma. Both teams are still trying to live up to the preseason hype. Should be a good bal game.

It amazes me how you guys back a guy that cheated his way to the top and dog a guy that runs a clean program. Just goes to show you all people care about is winning at any cost. There is a reason the guy left, if the talent was still there so would he. It's not like he's setting the world on fire in Alabama.

Tullahoma will get better. Coach Olive will always keep working to improve. It may not show up in wins this year but it definitely will next year. Tullahoma never stays down long.
