  1. Devon maybe eligible somehow, but i am pretty sure he entered the 9th grade at Clarksville High School the same year as Tario Frederick and John Hopson. They both played and graduated last year. If i am wrong i certainly apologize. I don't know about Desmond's grades. If he is at Northeast, that is his 3rd school in as many years.
  2. I don't believe Desmond Garrett or Devon Bracey is eligible to play this year. i may be wrong but i believe Devon has been at Clarksville High for 8 semesters and i don't think they have passed a "red shirt" rule.
  3. Let's just say that the one that throws the second punch is normally the one that gets caught. Also many of the players on Northwest's team have close affiliations with Fort Campbell which may have been a factor in their lack of focus in last nights game against Dickson County. Many know soldiers or parents of kids deploying to the Middle East. Basketball is a game; what they may have to face is real. Taking nothing away from Dickson County. Air Assault

  5. With that comment viking13 about Rossview, you just added to the long list of people who want and know Northwest will fail.
  6. Point taken. Not being critical either, but my point is if there is a vested interest in him then talk to him about it not use this venue.
  7. Why is it that every time someone says something positive about Quinn Bradley; people are so quick to put him down. There are many ballplayers pumped up on here that aren't half as good as he is. I guess the old saying is true that when you are good people don't like you and want you to fail.
  8. Don't forget Rossview is 2-1 in the district and as for Antwan Harris, he needs a lot of work with a jump rope because he could be called for traveling any time he handles the ball or he either falls down. D-1?
  9. From what i hear DJ Dallas shouldn't even be on the team because it didn't think enough of the team to even show up for workouts during the summer and this fall. Also Rossview plays too much "buddy ball" to be a consistent winner.
  10. Talked to a Houston county player. He stated they had scrimmaged both Clarksville High and Northwest. He thought Clarksville High was the better team.
  11. Sounds to me as though he needs to study the saga of Eric and his father Juicey Locke.
  12. Maybe stretching it a bit to say Al Cooper is the best coach in the district. Has been blessed with talent in the past, but doesn't seem to do much outside of the district. Also a stretch to say a team from Clarksville will win the state. The biggest problem I have seen with Michael Sampson over the years is they didn't get the ball to him enough. Robert Curry is probably the best guard returning to Kenwood if he plays.
  13. Not too sure Northwest has the coaching or the bench to reach such high expectations as best in the state.
