Wow... That sums up last night... First, VB earned alot of respect tonight from me... I really did not think they were that good... They obviously had a def scheme and it worked... They Trippled all the inside guys and made sure Shankle did not beat them... He had 16 and really had an off night to VB credit... Mike Minor is the story of the game... Wow the kid just flat stepped up and took over... He was a huge part of a great team win last night... Okay forget the rankings... VB is the 2nd best team in the district hands down... Cascade and Eagleville are not nearly as strong as VB... I really don't know why VB let those other teams beat them... Oh, word to VB coach... Give the ball to your big man... He is very tough inside and make defenders earn every step... Great Game.... Good jo to both teams and fans!

Umm you asked... So i told you... It's not like I hype him up just because... He proves to everyone he is the best.. So i am just being honest... Not hyping him up or praise him... He deserves the recognition he gets... By the way.. He is a power foward most of the time... Whitley is the center... And he is shooting 51 % from3s.. So again, I answer your question... He is the best shooter!

Hahahaha... Best shooter is Corey Shankle... He hit 50 shots in a row from beyong 10 feet one time at practice... And he backs it up in games because he shoots 70 percent from the field... And is the leading scorer in the district...

No way Forrest is overlooking VB... They are very good at focusing on the challenge at hand... I can promise you that... I think VB is the 2nd best team but i do not think they are close to Forrest... They just don't have any dominant players... No one will stop Shankle tonight because they aren't able... And I don't think the guards are better than ours either... We played the worse game ever against you guys and still won... 9A is not a very good district... If we were in the old 11A district... VB would be about 4 not 2... Look for Chapel Hill to make a statement toight... Oh, VB fans... I hope you enjoy the ten million hour drive over here, just like i enjoyed the ride there..!

Forrest Frontcourt is to tough right now and VB didn't impress me that much the first time... I think both teams played badly in that game... Don't count out Forrest frontcourt... Mike Minor been averaging about 14 a game lately and Chandler Gentry has picked up his play! The only thing that VB has on Forrest is size, which means.... Oh, and who is gonna guard Shankle... I'll take Forrest by 11... Shoud be a great game though... Can't wait!

Forrest did a great job tonight on a big Team win... Gentry and Minor did a great job tonight, along with shankle who had 22... They are the best team in the district no questions... I hope they can keep this pace for the entire season... Great win..

Forrest has 3 of there top seven out tonight... To bad one of those isn't Corey Shankle... The leading scorer in the district... I think Ezell, Pratt, and Whitley are all out... Cascade doesn't really impress me that much but I know from experience this is a great rival... Expect Cascade to play them close... But Chapel Hill by less than 10... Great game... Tough place to play...

Vasek and Shankle is a great matchup... And VB doesnt have two post in his league... 19ppg.. 9rpg.. led district in scoring last yr and this yr so far.... And his team is in first place... If you ask me, VB is way overrated... But that is just my opinion...

No one on Unionville could give Shankle any problems... There are only a few people in the region that can actually give him problems... If he has a bad game... which doesn't happen much... He beats himself... There aren't many that could straight up guard and shut him down...

This won't even be a game... Forrest by 20... Just because there starters won't play much! To sum this game up.... One of the freshman starters on Unionville got cut by Chapel Hill this year! Unionville just doesn't have any talent!

Shankle is the best post in the district bottom line.. He is averaging 23 points per game in district play... He is not big either... 6'2"... 160 pounds... Shanks is okay but he is not in Shankles leauge.... Corey is just a scorer... Bottom line... And also. Forrest did not practice to shut down shanks... Beleive me... I know! He is not that specail of a player... I don't even think he is ther best player!

Strong play by Shankle... Wow... Understatement! He is averaging almost 24 points in his last 7 contest! And about 18 on the year! Most of the times has double digit rebounds as well! Allof this by only averaging 13 shots per game... The team really played together and played good D as I stated they would! Also as I stated there good D would beat Eagleville's high power O! Eagle didn't even know what to do... There record looks good but they played a girl scheldule and that will hurt them! But hey, there stats look good right?

Yea eagleville plays pressure defense... Not good defense! When you play a pancake scheldule... it's easy to have a good D!

I will say first that these two teams are easily the best two in the district! Chapel Hill can and will Match up with Eagleville! Eagleville hasn't played very strong defensive teams... and Eagleville can flat score! But good defense always stops good offense! It will be a close game in the 50's or 60's i think! Not anywhere above that! Corey Shankle is averaging 23 points per game his last 6 games as well... So That will be something to watch! Should be a very very fun game! Offense v. Defense! We'll see who shows up! Good luck to both!

Chapel Hill dropped 3 games in a row in Cookeville... I didn't go but I hear they didn't play to good! Hopefully it was just a bad week because the Eagleville Tourney is next week. A good thing though is Shankle finally woke up a little but against good comp to get 73 points in those three games.. 28 against Copokeville, 21 against Clarkerange, and 24 against Livingston... But that really doesn't matter if they didn't win... Merry Christmas and good luck next week!

How good is livingston? Chapel Hill isnt playing very good right now! Corey Shankle has had a good tourney so far, scoring 28 against Cookeville and 21 against Clarkrange... But that really isnt impressive because they are not winning any games! Please let me know about livingston if you know anything!

If you guys had trouble with DB... Then yes VB will give you problems... And yes Eagleville is the most athletic team in the District!

Yea, like i figured, there would be alot of heat about my last post... Also I don't want anyone to think I was trying to hurt any feelings and disrepect any kid! That is just my opinion and maybe they are better than I think... I guess we will see at the end of the season.

Look I am not trying to get anyone mad or loose respect on the message boards... But VB is terrible. I know alot about bball and let me tell you, they have ok size, but lack the skill to be any kind of real force! They will be like 2nd or 3rd in this terrible district... Chapel Hill played about as bad as you can play and still beat them! VB is not and will not be a factor in region match-ups! Good Luck though to both teams... Unitl we meet again... Cheers!
