also 1a is stronger than 2a maybe even 3a.

west has improved alot on defense but I agree maryville to strong and balanced. Yet maryville better come to play because at this level anyone can pull out the upset.. Go maryville.

I am a cloudland fan that bleeds blue and gold. But I just want to say maryville has all of my support. Bring back the trophy guys. Keep the streak alive for tennessee sake.... I like have a national ranked team so close...Hopefully cloudland can do it in 1a...

arhp52 I have seen boyd and cloudland and I will say you do not have any ideal what you are talking about. It will be a good game. Boyd has their strengths and cloudland has theirs. As far as south pitt. beating greenback, dream on..By the way last yr. against south pitt. in the semis was cloudlands easiest game in the playoffs... So unless south pitt improved alot this yr. Then no wonder boyd beat them so bad...This game will come down to who came to play the hardest....

having the luxury of seeing both clubs this yr. it will be interesting... Middle of the season I would have had to give boyd the edge. But seeing cloudlands later games in the season and how they have stepped up their defense. Well personally I think boyd will have it very hard matching up with cloudland...If cloudlands defense shows up as it did against greenback, which by the way was highly underated, they will come out victorious and be in the big bowl...

congrats cloudland on a great victory..greenback you have a good team and great fan support. Best opposing defense cloudland has played all yr. Greenback improved a lot from last yr. and may be a force to be considered in 2003..

Dane had 144 tackles His team mate mark had 123 tackles. I dont know who had the most in the state though....

cloudland has one classy squad. Now the fans can get carried away. But the team shows real class.

mark byrd is the best overall athlete I have seen in a long time at the high school level...If he had a little more height the college nation would be drooling over this kid...He can and has played most positions on the field and done it well....Great kid,very sportsmanship,Hope he gets everything in life he deserves....I heard a story about how he could grab the rim with both hands with 2 steps. Considering he is only 5-8 or 5-9 thats athletic...Of course rumors carry a long way in the great state of tenn.
