At this point of the year i agree been the most consistent player on the team the last few games and i would say one of if not the most dominant post in A class and now has begun to step out behind the 3 point line. if any she should be a lock for it with the big names from last year and be a dark horse id say Sarah would be one

Possibly two for one team... if thats ever happened but either way good candidates Miss Rachel Garland and Miss Sarah Raby! both lead thier #@ Moore County team, great students, leaders and two great kids preiod... as well!Rachels been a 5 year starter getting district, regional and state regognition over her career. Sarah has been a force snd took recognition her freshman year i believe when she came out in state chanpionship game opening up against Jackson Co for 15 points? been unstoppable more than not minus one game before Vandychris comes on here about how Summertown shut them down and all these players at some point during the year have had a off night and all have at least one bad loss id imagine. So two very good candidates and ever so supporting of each other either or both are worthy of this award. and good luck to all of the candidates all are worthy of the award!

Was glad to see Moore county put together a whole two halves of a game for a great win in District play againt one of the teams actually better than they are! hopefully get two m ore wins this week playing the same way with that fire and heart that Coach had gotten them to play with and at a good time for tournement time.They could easily be an upsetter in the tourney if they hold it together on a good night!

Overrated? well i believe Summertown is overrated it was just one game plus imo plays in a weak district which i think is relatively even with 9a. but who cares right now when the time comes and a rematch comes in substate that will be the time it matters. Theres till plenty of basketball left to play yet!

Was 68-66 score didn't speak volumes for how badly the refs were yesterday! Bad calls missed calls don't know where this refs came from but somebody definatly needs to turn that tape in! I like and understand a good physical game but no calls to th point to where kids candidates do do get hurt isn't good to the game glad I'm not there to witness the officials today hope its better.

Great game and good job by the Raiderettes and Oakland! Would have been better if the game was better officiated.the worst refs I have ever seen!

sounds like to me someone has a personal vendeta against all things MC? pretty much all and anything u have posted have been jabs at them all season!

I dont see both Summertown and MC going past has shown they match up in substate so which ever of the two IF they meet could make a good run thru the tourny

Great game tonight glad to see improvement on the MC side should be a successful year. been a good while since big blues played this good and competative in early Dec. So Go big blue glad to see things gradually gettin back on track but one step at a tome better than none

could use some help off the bench from boxscore of last night Raby and Garland could use some help a consistent third scorer like thy have had the last few years to fill the void left by Vann if they plan on winning district and going further

who should be contending in this district this year Moore County will be Moore County and im sure Forrest will be Forrest! how does everbody else stack up and could the two named teams make it to state?Payers of year and top players to look for this year.

Taking it im NOT from Huntland and am actually from MC. itd the truth obviously taking it that besides Forrest they have been the one team in single A thats kept up with us at all. No reason to try sugar coat it THey dont play up to the level they can this can be thier last game. hopefully MC prevaiils but this huntland teams not one to sleep on and as long as we come out with a win these post are irrelevant!

ALL i got to say is play hard Raiderettes or go home!4th x to play this scrappy team and im sure they are wantin this one even more than the previous 2 of course a lot mores on the line i say Huntland without the homecourt advantage as they have the last 2 games the raiderettes pull this one out by 12!

Dont really think this game will come down to post play watchin forrest play eagleville the other night and recalling from the game we lost to them the main goal SHOULD be to shut down their shooters id give thier post any look cause MC has id say the best post tandem in the state.So our guards and the defensew we showed al throughout the first 1/4 of the year needs to step baCK UP !

Theres no reason why MC shouldnt go undefeated in district play. Also on the other hand i saw Forrest play Tullahoma walked in thinking it was a blowout in the making and they came pretty close to losing that game. So regardless of who they HAVE played They are most definatly not who they had been the past few years!
