Does Cleveland have a patent on a baseball field? I don't think so. The only thing that resembles your field might be the block wall for the base of the backstop. Other than that it is far above anything "Cleveland" has got.

Congratulations to Coach Turner at Walker Valley. The field has been named after him in honor of his 28yrs. of coaching at Charleston and now at WV. It is because of his dedication and persistence that we now have the complex we have. THANKS Coach Turner!!

Maybe the first 6 innings. If we went 9 and 2/3 innings and we left at least 8 on base that don't add up. I know you threw more than 3 pitches (on an average) each.

That will be allright. I think our boys will get a few to drop in for hits this time. They had some pretty good at bats Fri. but Polk did make some very good defensive plays. Surely after 5-6 at bats against the same pitcher, it will be like batting practice. Couch can't be 100% after throwing approx. 200 pitches Fri. I guess we'll see Wed.

Allright, Come hungry, the concessions there are the best in the state. See some great baseball while you eat supper. What a country!! LETS PLAY BALL!!!

Im pretty sure they had about 8 seniors that will graduate, but the biggest factor would be their quarterback and his twin brother quit and went to cleveland. It may even be for the better. They are still a somewhat inexperianced team in the players and coaching staff. The way I see it they can't do much worse.

I guess one excuse is as good as another. It just proves any team can beat another at some point and time. It's a good thing you didn't invite Cleveland to play.

Walker Valley players - whats the deal with lots of you guys being on this TN Baseball http://www.geocities.com/baseballpreview2003 web site? Are you doing this individually or is the Coaching staff promoting you. However it's being done it's pretty impressive. I personally know of a several high caliber players that need to be on this list. How can they get on?

Well I thought we might see a little head to head action tomorrow evening but it don't look like the weather is going to cooperate. Maybe next week. And yes I've got my reservations. What part is it you all are going to? Dont forget the sunscreen for your so called fire-ballers down there. We wouldn't want them to melt down!!
