I've looked at the schedule and Eagleville wasn't on it. East plays West Limestone. Cornersville plays Clements at 4:30. Haleyville plays Ardmore. I looked at the schedule about a week ago, it may have changed.

I think the last post was talking about Huntland. The Fralix twins are not playing basketball.

Actually, Lizzy Hewitt is Cornersville's only senior.

Thanks for the info! She is a junior and her birthdate is October 23, 1988. She needs to stay busy and keep in form this summer. Hope someone can help her find a team.

I was at the game last night. I think you are mistaken about foul calls in the first half. Cornersville had to sit two of their starters (Beard and Hewitt) for several minutes in the first half. Wayne County was the first team to shoot one-and-one.

Are we discussing the all-district regular season team or the all-tournament team? There will be two MVPs, one for the season and one for the tourney. Good Luck to all!

They did not play West Limestone, they played Lauderdale county. As to the scores, I don't know why they are not listed. They beat East Limestone and loss to Lauderdale County.

Cornersville lost to Harriman on Monday night (Dec. 29), but they beat Cosby the morning of the 30th.

The Junior varsity lost their first game to Pisgah. But rebounded with a nice win over Plainview. The varsity came from about 10 or more points down and took the lead in the final minutes to win over Pisgah. In the finals, the Lady Raiders went down by about 20 points at half and then came back to come to within 3, but they fell to defeat. Good tough tourney to warm up for the rest of the season. Go LADY RAIDERS!
