If YAI wins Friday...they will be a #1 seed in a section. It is really not a quadrant as the tssaa has coined it. Everyone else that could be in their section has at least one loss.

I don't think many if any thinks it will be a blowout. SC plays to win. A one point win is good enough for me.

1. Bledsoe is no SC...not close. 2. I guarantee #6 is not faster than what SC faced last night...SC is very fast on defense. 3. SC is starting to put things together just in time for the playoffs. 4. I am sure your coach has done a very good job...but SC won't be outcoached...won't happen.

The odds on favorites for the 5 wildcards are JCS, Richland, Rockwood, Sweetwater, and Humboldt. Cannon County has to beat Smith County to get in. Also Upperman could get in if they beat York. All I know for sure is that there is a lot yet to be decided even after week 9. There are still a multitude of possibilities.

You appear to be right. It looks to me like Fairview will be the #3 seed. I saw that too. I would think that would be the same as beating an out of state team. Yes...it would count as a win.

He had one foot in and one foot out when he came down with the ball. You have to have one foot down first. That one was right in front of me. They blew that call too.

Upperman may pose some problems for YAI and they throw the ball very well. YAI has a lot of injuries. YAI should win...but it may be closer than most think.

Yes...I am encouraged by what I saw offensively last night. The offense has to cut out the penalties. Penalties killed a couple of drives. Execution was much better than the last few weeks. The lining up off sides...and procedure penalties shouldn't happen this time of year. I loved the gameplan. Defense played lights out against a very quick and good offense. FC did not score on the defense. I think having Martin back at full speed was a boost for FC. He is tough. Robinson is a great runningback too. He was hurt on defense late in the game. I hope he's okay too.

SC's defense played very well tonight. FC scored on a fumble recovery. I hope #20 is okay for FC. I think he dislocated his ankle on the 2nd play of the game. FC has some athletes. #25 is very quick.

It is rare to see teams play up or down 3 classes. Goodpasture has 3 5a schools on their schedule. I can't remember very many public schools in 2a that have played a 5a school. We last did in '94. We used to scrimmage some.

I think they are a program on the rise. They have lost some close games this year. They have had a lot of support in the past too. I am sure they will be too good for us to play too much in the future. They are a decent 5a team that will pose a lot of problems for us this Friday. .
