  1. What is the multipler and how's it work? Is that for privates only

As far as I know it is still 1.8. Other rules have been implemented also...such as if you offer aid to students...work study...etc...you have to play in DII. It looks like a lot of them will go to DII. I saw today that CAK is moving. Yes...for privates playing in DI.

  2. The TSSAA site has the official #'s posted but I want to know the breaking point for each class.

Yet to be determined. To get an idea...list all schools & group into 6 equal classes. That will be close. Some privates will move to DII. The multiplier will affect also.

  3. For the record that Bell team was solid, but not great

They lost in the State Semi's that year and had to replace something like 5 or 6 starters each way from their 2008 team. They were a team full of good players but not exactly littered with talent or explosive.

Belfry is returning 9 starters each way and is both talented and explosive.

You are also missing one other matchup against the Defending State Champs. Three years ago Belfry went to CAK and beat CAK 27-21 despite the Pirates entering missing 5 starters each way due to injury. CAK was the defending State Champions. Most of these Belfry Seniors were Freshman on that team with Horton, Bentley, Catron, and Woolum all starting

Don't see Belfry running away with it like last year, but also don't see Catholic continuing their video game scores.

For the record that CAK team ended up with a losing record. They lost to Alcoa 51-17 the week after Belfry. They also lost again to Alcoa 42-14 in the playoffs.

This year between these teams will be very interesting. Both are certainly the odds on favorites to win their respective divisions. Both are ranked #1 going in. Those rankings are well deserved.

  4. we did as much to lose as ya'll did to win. that was pretty evident.

    Either way, you won.

What was it that I said was taking a shot? Carthage? Oh, Please! You're beginning to make me mistake you for a liberal.

No...not me....lol. Time will tell about Gordansville. I don't think Trousdale County...aka Hartsville is very good. MTCS & NCS are pretty good. Watertown aka H2O does appear to be very good.

  5. What do you disagree with?

That Watertown is legit or we beat ourselves against you guys?

A fumble on a drive where we were fixin to score?

Overthrown pass to end the game?

More total yardage, but also more penalty yards?

    It happens.

It seems to happen every year...lol. It's always that you beat yourself.
  6. lol they didn't destroy BA get your facts straight the 31-13 score doesn't show how close the game was... it was 17-13 with 8 min left..  BA had 5 turnovers and rotated qbs all night.. besides the point at the top the teams are equal but especially in the middle TN is way more dominant as a whole

Yeah...it was an 18 point squeaker...lol. If it wasn't for that pesky scoreboard.

  7. bowling green is ok but they have the most home cooking of any team in KY by far.... what other teams come tomcod?

Highlands...Ft. Campbell had a good run. Warren Central won a title last year. Mayfield has won numerous titles....won last year.

Paducah Tilghman had probably the best high school team I've ever seen. They beat BA & Oak Ridge on the road when both won TN titles. Highlands has been loaded with SEC talent over the years. I think TN football is a little better...but at the top...KY may be a little better. Trinity destroyed BA and Ensworth last year...and they didn't even make the 6a title game.

  8. if we are being honest there are only about 3 really good football teams in Ky not including belfry- Trinity, Male, and St X other than that Ky football as a whole isn't very strong top to bottom

There are several really good teams in KY. Bowling Green comes to mind...several others.

  9. Putnam Co. does not zone and that could be the answer but to start a zoning program you have to have space in other schools to take the overflow which is not the case in Putnam. New building program will be the only solution for Putnam.

The remoteness (mountain) of Monterey makes it difficult to send kids there. I doubt there are many from there going to Cookeville or Upperman.

  10. At SC the new lighting on both fields was paid for by the county. The new baseball field and softball field at SC was paid for by boosters. The boosters at SC will have both fields lit before long. Our boosters take pride and really support SC as you can see.

Yes they do. The school board has been good also. A lot better than most.
