I ve been reading all the post with a lot of interest. it seems to me that the problems have arisen from the TSSAA decision to play high school soccer in the spring for boys which is completely opposite from most states. Yes there are some high quality tournaments the boys can play in the fall, but many are in the spring also. Why not make a simple compromise and do what Florida does? The Tampa Sun Bowl is played right in middle of high school season but they have elected to suspend high school soccer for three weeks so they can play. I'm sure someone can think of a reason why this would not work. It almost sounds too simple.
Toro - Have ever seen a college coaches budget? They have barely enough money to travel to five or six club tournaments to 100 players at one location much less to travel to one city just to see 0ne or two high school players. This will be true regardless of Div. 1,2 or 3.
