BGA scored first. Sounds pretty flat to me. Im not so sure about the statement about our defense. Our poor keeper was just inexperienced, made youthful mistakes that led to those goals. Not saying ECS didn't deserve anything at all. They ended with the most goals.

Oh, and thanks for the insight Nick, but I think he has heard it enough in the past 18 hours and realizes his mistakes. There's no need to talk about that incident on these boards; they aren't the place for it.

Ydet, please don't use the first person when talkin about the BGA soccer team; you can say whatever you want as long as you make it clear that you are not a player and that you do not speak for the team. We appreciate your support, however. Keep up the good work.

Please note, bhs007, that no BGA player posts in a derogatory manner on these boards. (unless we are discussing collars) Tnfc007, myself, and maybe a few others speak for the BGA squad. Tedy, Teddy, IamTedy, BornaRebel44, etc. speak for BGA fans and/or JV players. So our manners "here on coacht" should not really fall under criticism, unless of course you find something offensive about how ghey it is to wear your collar up. The Bruins had the only goal of the first half and came out strong and got a quick one in the second, making it 2-0. The Wildcats finally began connecting, scoring three consecutive goals spread out over the last 30 minutes of the game.

Will Walton out of BGA is more than solid. I've seen some good saves in my day, never as good as some of his though.

BGA 4 MBA 0

BGA came out hard and strong, playing like they hadn't played since their 6-0 trouncing by Farragut. Great combinations by the entire team and great finishes by Caldwell Lucas put ECS on their heels early on. It didn't take long for ECS to unravel, giving way for Lucas' stellar night.

Caldwell Lucas had a relatively big night with five goals against ECS, made possible by assists from the whole gamut of BGA midfielders/strikers. His counterpart, striker Joel Locke, rounded out the score with another great goal. Props to [ECS #9] for catching the BGA defense off guard in the first half and making them pay. A final goal by ECS with :01 on the referee's clock made the score 6-2. MVP: Caldwell Lucas for capitalizing on all of his opportunities (an Achilles heel of sorts for him in the past few weeks).

On Centennial's side... A great early goal by Patrick Rommel put a scare into the Wildcats A great night for [Centennial Keeper] who managed to block most of BGA's shots with some spectacular saves. bob how can you say bga doesnt have a pitching staff, first off we have bubis, and then we have sam carbine who didnt play last year but is coming back this year to be a solid 2, and jared johnson who has improved drastically,and michael ross a hard throwing sophomore and matt ridings a freshman who throws the ball very well, and wes benefield handling some of the closing duties, we legitimately have 7 solid pitchers, and andrew wilson couldnt hit an 80 mph fastball right down the tube, gimme a break, im just telling you bga will look NOTHING like they did last year, one year of maturity especially with the squad we had will make a huge difference, even more so than another team that has the same circumstances, bga will definitely suprise some people this year, no ones giving us a chance but we'll see how it turns out

If anything is true about BGA's baseball tam this year other then he total domination that will take place on the field between them and the "Little Red" of Mamma's boy academy its the skill and killer instinct of Senior Wes Benefield. Other than brushing up on his game he has also backed on 20 pounds and added 70 pounds to his bench press. Look for him to light up D-II this year with BIG BAT,play at shortstop, and decisive pitching ability.

I first would want to say one thing, if anyone is going to have a mediocre team this year it will definatley be MBA. First off they lost their only two players that had any worth last year other than scott pettus. Players like Michael Fisher, Tom Santi, and Sales are very much overrated.And BIGRED3 before you make anymore stupid comments you should check the novermber 12 recruiting edition of Southern Highschool Sports. There is page long collumn on that frshman pitcher from Battle Ground Academy, Logan Lovell. If the author of the recent collum posted on this website who goes by the name Bigred3 even plays baseball he will get to see up front what this years baseball team will be like over at BGA, in my opinion it will be alot like this years football game between the two teams, total domination by BGA.
