I agree. Play clean and mean. If they beat us and both teams play clean football, then so be it, but if the Falcons can't get fired up for this one, especially the ones that were on last years team, then there is something bad wrong. The one major thing is that Ellis will get most, if not all, of the snaps at QB. That could be our Achilles heel, but I have full confidence Brince can "Git 'R Done"!!!!!!! Go Falcons, open those holes so Ramsey can pop the Trojans!!!

Central is the Hot Pick

It's game day. If the Falcons walk out onto the field with the anger they walked off of Hazel Green's with last year, the 2006 pack of Trojans could get popped!!! I hope they all remember what they had to endure after that game last year with all of the classless taunting and preaching that occured after the game was obviously, and I do mean obviously, given to them by the imitation officials. The TSSAA would have never let a group of guys call another game if they had botched one like those guys did. Let's get fired up and take it to them for 48 minutes and send them back across the state line with a good lesson in redemption!!!

Here are my guesses: Lincoln County (They will be fired up beyond belief for this one, and it is homecoming!!!) Coffee County (Raiders rebound and get a crucial region "W") Warren County (Pioneers also rebound with a region "W") Mt. Pleasant (Collinwood is good, but not as good as in recent memory) Brentwood Academy (They are at home and keep the momentum after big win over McCallie) Germantown (Picking with my head and not my heart on this one) Maryville (Got to go with them until someone beats them) Knoxville Webb (Can't believe BGA is yet to put one in the WIN column)

How is this for irony? A television station out of Huntsville, Alabama held a poll on their web site for fans to vote who they would hold a pep rally for for the game this week between Lincoln County and Hazel Green, and Lincoln County won!! Go Falcons, lets make it a clean sweep and win the game too!!

According to the T$$AA website, there are no plans for Cumberland County to be moved. There is no note of change beside their school on the 2007-2009 Classification Changes page, and it does list Stone Memorial and says that they will be 3-A in football.

Exactly!!!! It's bad enough that you have to travel down Butter and Egg Road and pass through Lick Skillett to get there from some parts of Lincoln County. Of course they have only won one game this year, over a team that has also only won one game, so we sould be ok as long as we play to our potential......

You have no idea how much LC wants this one. Last year was one that you had to be there to honestly believe the officiating could be so poor, and I do mean POOR!!!! The only stripes that crew should have been wearing were the ones that you wear behind bars. I've seen Three Stooges episodes that were better organized...

Only in Alabama would the restrooms be in a single wide house trailer behind the home side bleachers!!!!

True, but the have played what many consider to be the bottom half of the region, although they would already be qualified for the playoffs regardless of how they would do against Cookeville or LC this year. Tullahoma vs. Lincoln County was always a good gate for the home team every year.
