Our booster club would like to host a AAU tournament, would like some input on what people would like (ages,girls,boys, etc.) we are in the middle tn. area. Thanks.

The word I am hearing is coach Lunsford is leaving to. Do ya'll think he can win on the next level I really don't think he can.

What town is cloudland in and does coach Lunsford live there.

Who are the head coaches of these to teams. How long have they been there and if youmight know there over all records. They both seem to have very strong programs and very good fan support.

AS FAR AS BEING AT THE GAMES ONLY TO BE SEEN, WHERE WERE YOU 20-30 YEARS AGO WHEN MANCHESTER AKA CC PLAYED COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL AND DIDN'T CONTINUEOUSLY HAVE A LOSING PROGRAM. OBVIOUSLY LOSING IS OKAY WITH YOU. THERE IS NO PRIDE IN LOSING. IF YOU FEEL IT IS OKAY TO CONTINUE TO NOT HAVE A WINNING PROGRAM THEN THEIR SHOULD BE NO CHANGES MADE AT CC. HOWEVER, JEFF BREEDEN WILL BE THE FIRST TO TELL YOU THAT LOSING stinks AND IT SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTABLE. THIS GOES BACK TO MY PREVIOUS STATEMENT: IT IS A SHAME WE CAN'T KEEP BREEDEN AND BRING HIM IN SOME QUALITY ASSISTANCE THAT HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN A WINNING PROGRAM AND KNOW WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN. BOTTOM LINE IT'S ALL ABOUT WINNING AND LOSING AND THE KIDS.

Nice post caesar, Coach Breedon was in his 4 or 5 year, so some people think that was worth more than 2 wins. Most people don't really understand how far he had brought the program. when he took over he had 28 players now it is over 75 which is really good, with a real good group freshman coming up. Most people really don,t uderstand where we was befor he took over. Bert Brown was head coach the only time we went to the state playoff after that season was over he knew that the tallent level was down, so elected to leave, but befor he left he stoped the off season program weight lifting and all. (We have just now got over that) The system posted the job we had one man put in for the job and he had not coached in 20 years, just wanted to move into this area, some people went to Breedon and asked him to take it, and he did and put alot of long hours in and made a good turn but just could not get the wins,AND THAT IS WHAT IS ALL ABOUT. lIKE I SAID BEFORE, I WISH HE COULD STAY ALONG WITH CHASE JONES AND BRING IN SOME GOOD ASST. I have been told the new coach was going to get 4 or 5 spots to feel, which will be good, If Breedon could of had that same chance we might not even be talking now. LIKE I HAVE BEEN SAYING CC FANS IF YOU WANT A WINNING PROGRAM CALL ALL THE BOARD MEMBERS NOW, GET YOUR FRIENDS TO CALL YOUR MOMS AND DADS AND ALL THERE FRIENDS PUT MORE PRESSURE ON THE SUPT. Changeup, You are right CALL YOUR BOARD MEMBERS,NOT JUST THE TWO THAT GO TO THE GAMES (P.T AND R.M). I am afraid it is to late for Breedon to come back as head coach he has to much pride. I know that board member P.T tried to save Breedon,s job but new he was fighting a losing battle. So we need to call ALL THE BOARD MEMBERS NOW!!!! and tell them we want something done now, Have a new coach in here at the first of the year. Like I said befor Breedon had no help, Some great fun guys buyt very week coach,s. To many ex- high school players that has never won. We need to find someone that knows how to win and sournd him with winners. WE need to incourage Breedon to stay maybe even help the new coach and finish building the program that he has already brought along way. This will show class which I know that he has. And then he and the kids will be the winners. Coffee county is in the process of forming a search committee to find a new head coach. Some merchants are putting a package together as we speak. If any names are out there post it on coacht and I will respond. We are a 5 A school with 1450 kids, our past coach increased the players from 28 5 years ago to around 80 this year. He is a great coach but just needed a little help. The school board has already passed on a building program that includes adding on to the weight room that is already a really good one with alot of equipment, they are planning on a new dressing room and weight room. We have a nice stadium that holds aroung 6000 fans. If there is any names log on to this message board and i will get your name to the right people.

There is some hard feelings right now, and that is understood, me being one of them. But we need to pull together as fans and make something good of this. Knowing coach Breedon like I do that is the way he wants it. I have been told that some of the school board members are upset, and they are going to push to bring someone in that has been involved in winning. I have told that there is a search committe being put in place and they are going to bring in some good coaches, we need to call them and incourage them to do so, offer our help and maybe bring in some names. One of these board members is working with some merchants to put together a good package that will help bring the right person in. I don't like the way it all went down but we need to make the change easy and clean incourage the boys to stay out work even harder. I guess what I am saying is call your board members put presure on them to find the right one and soon. If you follow coffee county football you know who the board members that attend the games call them. NOW IS THE TIME TO GET INVOLVED.

The sad thing about this whole thing is that coach Breedon could not say no. He found some real good coaches but could not get them hired because people from the supt. office would drag there feet. So Breedon and our kids had to settle for average or less coaches. Breedon had to coach both sides of the ball with little help. Breedon,s week point isthat he could never say no to friends, Like all the former players. They took advantage of a good hard working man, and now he has went down because of it. All the Boy coaches was running up and down the field yelling makeing the sidelines look totally out of control, people from other schools thought we looked like a joke on the sidelines. I really don't think Breedon even new what was going on because he was so involved in the game. We will have a hard time finding anybody that will work as hard as he did, I wish we could keep Breedon and run everybody else off and bring in good ######. coaches, I think it would be different, I guess we will never know.
