  1. haha- FHSRebel is there an echo?
  2. Jgriffin: We will NOT prolong our win all week. We celebrated tonight, but as soon as Monday's practice gets here - - - all we think about is Hendersonville. The heck with the past 12 games, only one matters this week. And SCtribe, a little premature to be telling us to get over our win don't you think? - - it just happened. We know Brentwood isn't everything, but in Williamson County- it is a huge rival game. We were in round three last year so it isn't some fluke that we are back again~ sorry that us Rebel Fans are excited. . . NOT GO REBELS!!!!!!
  3. hahaha- personally this is quite a humoruous post to me too BDD- We played at BHS and beat them, so that is one thing that BHS2004 has wrong about, plus- how pathetic is it that you have to bring CHEERLEADERS into this board? There is a cheerleading board if you wanna talk about that. As long as they get the crowd on their feet, who would care if that all look like PAT. *Which they don't* It's going to be the game of the state- good heath to BHS, good luck to FHS! GO REBELS- as softball145 says: HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF, it did last year . . . if bruin fans recall- hopefully it is our turn - - but I guess we'll see!!!!!! 23 1/2 hours!
  4. Not that my opinion really makes a difference, since I am a little bias because Kevyn is a very good friend of mine, but I think he has been under-used this year. Granted, we've been winning so as FHSRebel27 says "If it ain't broke, Don't Fix it". Ryan and Joe have both had a great season and I want to applaud Kevyn because he hasn't gotten down at all eventhough his numbers aren't like they were last year. He is a good team player as is the entire Franklin Team. (I don't know what I would do if I had to coach against Joe, Ryan and Kevyn plus Tony!) Moving on, I just want to thank my fellow seniors because they all have become the best friends and big brothers I could ever have. And they have taught me a lot about overcoming adversity. Good Luck in practice this week and Friday Night! And make sure you are drinking those fluids Rebels! I do not want any cramping this week! haha! I hope the entire county will be at the game Friday, aside from CHS fans who have to cheer the Cougars to a victory. Good Luck Williamson Co teams, but not so much to BHS
  5. Franklin High School is hosting some Hall Of Fame Games on the 21st (and 22nd I believe) of November. Don't Quote me on this but to my understand the teams are: Creekwood boys and girls Dickson County girls Brentwood Acadmey girls Franklin boys and girls CHS plays FHS boys and girls DCHS and BA play girls I'll have a better understanding when I get a schedule, but that is off hand memory!
  6. Way To Go Lady Rebels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so proud to be a part of the senior class this year. Many people did not believe in you guys to go all the way again this year, but ya'll led your team to another ClassAAA Championship! Congratulations to our 4 seniors: Kaley Forrest, Jen Wilson, Biz Barnes, and Leslie Lopez. The Franklin Lady Rebels Seniors have been to state all four years and won it their freshman, junior and senior year! (2000, 2002, 2003) Good Luck to NEXT years group of seniors as they try to go for three in a row. Hendersonville, great game and congrats on making it to the Finals.
  7. DE64, I apologize for my parents if they truly were that rude to you guys, and not to get into it, but you were yelling at our ball boys who had Jersey's on- yelling their numbers telling them to pull their pants up- anyway- good luck to BHS, DCHS and FHS- I agree DE64, a team outta our district will meet Lincoln Co or DC in the BCBS
  8. First off, I just want to say that the Dickson Co. Cougars are underrated. They are a great team. Congrats on your victory. The Rebels faught hard and it game down to DejaVu from the Brentwood Game. Nichols played a heck of a game as did Murray and FHS's team as did #21 and #35 and the rest of the DC team. Anyway I have something I must say before I can get any nights sleep. I'm a senior at Franklin, so I've been a part of all the rivalries for a few years. I have ALWAYS had respect for Brentwood High School Athletes and surrounding schools in Williamson County. Tonight Brentwood did a fantastic job of taking their respect away from my opinions. They came to cheer on Dickson Co because with a DCHS win, Brentwood is first, and duh, I'd be cheering that way too. BUT - The way they sat in the Franklin stands hooting and hollaring at our fans and players was uncalled for and very classless. Screaming "SCOREBOARD" after every DC Touchdown and yelling remarks at the Franklin Ball Boys was just immature. I hope that the Brentwood Community isn't all this way because they gave Brentwood a terrible name. All the surrounding parents and students on the sidelines and in the stands were disgusted with their antics. Just a little bit of my input,
  9. 1st off I'm a girl, 2nd off- sorry I didn't get the pun- It is hard to read sarcasim and puns online cause you don't see the face expressions and hear the tone of voice- but anyway- I'll take the inslut. This post should be long gone anyway- because Centennial lost and Franklin are the District Champs.
  10. Not that it is worth arguing about- since the game is done and over with, but I was proudly at the game cheering on my Lady Rebels and we get the calls because our tallest girl on the field (besides our Goalie) is about 5'6". Brentwood had some big girls who are very physical, but the calls were good calls. Granted, remember that there were only 2 refs rather than 3, which doesn't make since to me since it was the District championship game. . . seems like they should have 3 refs. But anyway- If you think it was an unfair or LUCKY game, wait til next week, I'm sure the two will meet again. . .
  11. Seeing that Centennial has only been here since.... lets see- 1997. But I guess 7 years and 100 years is close enough.
  12. West, I know for a fact that she picked up the MVP for the State Tournament last year after playing a heck of a game plus an overtime in the championship! Atta Girl Laura! PG23fhsWR1
  13. inot2bad- i was not trying to put down LC. I was mainly meaning the pressure that Riverdale has to keep their State Championship (win or runner up) reputation up. LC is now in the spot light and the state knows about them. It's time for them to shine and them beating Riverdale will definately rank them in the AP polls if they are not there already! Good Luck LC and Riverdale- and Go Rebels!
  14. I have seen both teams play. And in my opinion, Lincoln County has the momentum and size to win against Riverdale. I was at the Riverdale/CPA game and yes they put a very brutal beating on a 1A team, I still think LC's size will overpower. Riverdale has been "there" before and LC is the new team. It'll be a great game, too bad I'll be on the sidelines for my Rebels~!~
  15. I think some of the reason his record hasn't been to good the past few years has to do with coaching Girls ... I'm not sure if he is as good a girls coach as he is a boys coach- I've never played for him- just a thought [Edited by PG23FHSWR1 on 5-1-03 6:43P]
  16. this board is really random to me seeing that it was all discussed in November and all of a sudden someone responds to it and it is on the "front page" again... hey TE
  17. The TN Team Pride 17u should be very good- they have a number of seniors already signed with UT martin, Lipscomb, MTSU and a few other college teams. PG23FHSWR1
  18. well sas- if it makes you feel better, i'm VERY concerned because not only do I have VERY GOOD FRIENDS on the team, I go to school at Franklin and I have been watching it for 7 years, or more... They do need to put something together though because the guys are gonna get behind on spring practice!
  19. Dixie, I wasn't trying to start anything- and it isn't like I am the only one who is saying shelbyville recruits. Check out the rest of the posts... plus I've never played against shelbyville anyway, so I have no reason to "hate" [Edited by PG23FHSWR1 on 4-17-03 4:30P]
  20. Only thing I've heard is something about the Assistant Coach from Centennial Boys team applied. I THINK applications were taken until the 1st Friday in April and then start interviewing... who knows--- GO REBELS
  21. John, I agree with you totally- I do feel sorry for the girls that actually LIVE in Shelbyville... But shelbyville gets girls from all over the mid-state.... and other states. I doubt he will never be caught because the TSSAA loves him. He brings in the money and Nike sponsors them. He coaches AAU and is in the gyms yelling as his players are playing for his son or a hired coach. I would never go to Shelbyville, even if I was the best player in the state-but that's my opinion.... I'm shocked that Tabitha left Brentwood for Shelbyville. I wouldn't ever leave my friends and coaches and team mates for the Powerhouse. But I won't ever have to worry about that, I doubt I could be a manager at Shelbyville... Good Luck Tabs! 22. believe me, she DID start at Brentwood
  23. PLEASE look into Franklin High School. 595-2040 is the school number and kathyc@wcs.edu is our athletic director's email address. Our coach will NOT be back next year and we have GREAT POTENTIAL!! I think we only lose like 4-5 girls this year and the underclassmen have really stepped up. Please make contact. We are in Williamson Co. School District.
  24. Franklin and Brentwood- The Franklin Centennial rivalry will get good once Centennial beats us (not to be rude, they just haven't yet)
  25. Any word on who it has been narrowed down to?? NOTICE: Franklin HIGH SCHOOL, not County
