There is no need for Red Bank, Soddy, or Central even playing a district schedule this season. The OWLS are so dang good, the others do not stand a chance. The 3 "lesser" teams will have to battle it out for 2nd.

When you play Chatt. Central and they have a runner on base and the coach says GO every single pitch. Is that BUSH or D****E?? What do you think Bush League??

Being from another part of town, and having seen both teams play, SD will beat Ool by 20 points. They play VERY good defense, and are well balanced on offense. Their passing game is above average, and with a huge offensive line their runnung game is very effective. Ool however, does hold a speed advantage. But, a very good defense, beats a good offense. SD only averages giving up about 7 pts. per game. This team is very similar to a team I remember watching in the fall of 2000, however, the ONLY thing missing is a GREAT back. Granted the SD backs are getting the job done, but they are winning games by not allowing many points. In closing, Ool has NEVER beaten Weathers!!

So what you are saying is the new coach was hired 100% on what he had done in Fla. What amazes me is they can Coffman, who has been there some 20 years as an assistant. He waited his time to be the head coach, gets it for one year, has one of the best seasons in the past ten years, and gets Canned. Justice!! If they wanted the new guy, why couldn't he come in for a few seasons and be an assistant. This way you can watch him TEACH in the classroom, and also observe him as a coach. It just seems a little odd that a principal goes to a conference and comes back with a baseball coach, when they already had one in place.
