Sounds like it was a very competitive camp. Smith County seemed to do very well for a 2-A school. They beat some quality teams, and lost a couple of close ones. I believe they went 9 and 4 on the weekend...not too bad. Good Job Owls, keep working hard!

From all that I've heard, they played last night (Friday); and they are playing today. Smith County is doing very well so far. They made it out of Pool Play beating some good teams (FRA, Stratford, Lavergne, Obion Co. and a few others). They are playing today in the tournament, already beat Marshall Co. and one other team. Good Luck Owls...keep it up!

I think Smith County is sending their QB and receivers this year.

I think the Owls will be ready to repeat as Region 4-2A Champions; making this their 3rd straight Championship. But, there is a lot of football to be played between now and the first of December!

Who cares about a scrimmage that happened at the end of last season. That was what 4 or 5 months ago?

They beat us once out of 4 times, and that was cause we played that crazy ball of subbing a new five every minute. They only beat us by 2 or 3 if i remember. Then we decided to play right in the tournament and beat them by about fifteen I think, and 25 earlier in the season. Yes SC is young and unexperienced, but it will be a good ballgame, I think they can stil win.

Both teams played good in spurts. HS has really improved. Smith looked good at times. I think they play Monterey at home on Tuesday.

I think they are scrimmaging Hermitage Springs, Pickett County, Monterey, and Westmoreland. Not sure where they are playing each game though.

The Smith County picks sound good to me.

I hope this game isn't going down to the wire like the last 2...It shouldn't. Go get 'em Owls!

Ohhhhh, If only they were all as good as you bigreid. Don't give up on them just yet; we still have a long way to go this season. How well do you pass, catch, run, tackle, block, kick, punt?
