  1. Thank you for saying that about Coach Willard, Nathan. Often teaching and coaching feel like thankless jobs. A lot of people think in these terms: If we win, the players were born great. If we lose, the coach was bad. It is nice of you to acknowledge his efforts. He is tough but he loves his players and studies the game relentlessly. You are a fine young man and thanks again!
  2. I am an obvious Summertown fan. But most everyone I know hates to see any player get hurt from anywhere. We are all praying Rhodes heals nicely. Both teams played a great game.
  3. This reply is in reference to what was written by "Play Ball." Many former players return to Coach Willard and thank him for the teaching and training he puts his heart into. For every single time he has chewed out a player, he has encouraged him/her 5 times. A player must open his/her heart and mind to the coach, not just rely on God's given talent. It takes a stronger parent to support a coach, rather than to find fault.
