One reason Riverdale hardly has to leave Murfreesboro for big games is because four region opponents are within 20 minutes of the school. Riverdale was in Mt. Juliet the night they won the region this season. Although MJ wasn't very good I consider this a big game. The Warriors WERE away from Murfreesboro that night. Through the playoffs, Riverdale won their region and had better records than their opponents, so they deserved the right to stay in Murfreesboro.

This rematch may be very close. Both teams are very good and have great athletes. Possibly the biggest problem that will hurt Blackman is their attitude. They are always trying to make excuses on why they lose or don't play good. Unfortunately Blackman is capable of playing Riverdale closely. It will be a good game. I do believe Riverdale will want the game more. Blackman started those false accusations last year about Riverdale recruiting. Also, most fans don't realize that the players who left Riverdale for Blackman tried to destroy Riverdale's freshman locker room on their last day. Last season during the playoffs, Blackman students attempted to set fire to the annex section of classrooms at Riverdale. Warrior players have a lot to play for. Go Warriors RHS-17 BHS-0

Rico is a good player. However I know these three guys personally. Wes Martin, if could stay healthy, could possibly be considered one of the best all around athletes of the Blackman squad. Although Tim Herbert's cocky attitude hurts his all around character as a player, he is still a good athlete. Josh Dennis has saved the 9-3 Blaze, if it weren't for him they would probably be 7-5.

#19 Brian Campbell of Riverdale has 7 interceptions. He also starts as receiver and kicker.
