Just curious about the number of gold and silver balls the Peabody program has won. I was aware of the gold ball in 2003 and silver in 2004. Please list the other year that Peabody won the gold and the other 3 silver balls that they have won. I am pretty sure that Peabody girls were in the state tournament 2002,2003,2004 but I can't remember them being in the tournament any other times in the past 30 years. Could you also list the years Peabody girls have played in the state tournament. Thanks.

The girl that you mentioned that got her tooth knocked out the other night, actually the tooth that came out was glued in there because it was knocked out in the Lake County game earlier in the season. When it was knocked out that game, she spit it into her hand and tossed it to the assistant coach as she ran back down the floor and kept playing. The reason she went back to her bench the other night crying was because she swallowed the tooth this time, then spit it back up coming back down the floor. Thats toughness, especially considering she's 15 years old.

We are in the same region genius, we can't play each other in the sub state game. It is really odd that there have been both Huntingdon fans and Peabody fans putting down the Gleason girls, why is that? Usually people try and down others because they are jealous of them, yet both of you made it to the state tournament last year, and Huntingdon has beaten us twice this season. Just curious as to why we are such a target....maybe because for the decade and a half (not year and a half) that we dominated, we did it with class?

Easy to explain South Fulton scored more points. After looking at your post on correcting the West Carroll vs Trenton score I think you need to get off the computer and open your books and work on your spelling and grammar. Your post and comments show your intelligence. By the way do you have to be able to write and spell to be eligible to play at your school?

This was a very exciting game from start to finish. We need to give credit to South Fulton for a very well played game. This game was no fluke. On this particular night the Lady Red Devils outplayed our team and deserved to win. South Fulton has a solid team and they may have the best post player and the best all around guard in our region. (Cawthon & Harris) Harris was outstanding and dominate last night. Gleason had no answer for her defensively. For the most part Gleason shot the ball very well. It appeared to me that South Fulton's domination on the boards and Gleason breakdowns on defense were the difference in the game. To many silly fouls and easy baskets in crucial situations. The Lady Dawgs did show a lot of heart in coming back and giving themselves a chance to win. This loss could be a wake up call for the girls to work on DEFENSE and REBOUNDING. They will need to improve in these areas if they want to succeed in tournament play.

It's funny how a county would be building a new gym for a soon to be consolidated school. Don't talk if you don't know. Just post on here next year about this time and maybe I can get you a ticket to watch the lady dawgs host a substate game in their nice, new gymnasium.

I'm sorry that I previously berated such an esteemed human being as our Vanderbilt alum here loony62. You think someone that has so much going for them wouldn't be wasting so much time on a high school sports website and so much time trying to badmouth Gleason girls bball and their washed up coach. We, I thought you weren't from Dresden? The only sport "yall" have our number in is football. We beat "yall" year in and year out in girls and boys basketball, baseball, softball and even in golf. Why do you say we are living on memories 99' state championship is not that long ago. 00' we mad it to substate, and this year we won a district championship. You are the one not accepting fact, roughly 450 wins in 16 years (and counting) thats over 28 wins a year. Now its your turn to state a fact.

By the way loser26, the lady dawgs finished First in the district this year. I was just wondering why that was, since the players AND the coach are washed up?

I wanna apologize for my previous statements about Dresden's program, I was just mistaken in believing that this Lanny guy was from Dresden but either way I probably shouldn't have said them. Also I apologize for divadawg's comments about Bailey. We don't need to bash anybody except Linny. So now back to you Lonny, so by what your saying, the reason Gleason went to the state a dozen times, brought home 2 gold balls as well as a silver ball is because they had gifted players? So you believe that if Coach Frazier was not at Gleason then they would still have the victories and accomplishments that they do, and would still have had as many all-staters as well as college basketball players come through the program? I really hope you are shortly gonna post that this was all a joke and that you were just kidding because you make yourself look more and more unintelligent each time you post. So Lanny, Linny, Lonny, Lenny.....I can't even remember your name, probably because you are a nobody that is mad because of that fact. But you sure seem interested in Coach Frazier, I could maybe hook you up with an autograph or something, just let me know.

I really hope this lenny guy is just on here to get a reaction from the gleason faithful because if he really believes what he says I feel really bad for this guy. Just stating the facts lenny? The only fact that you have acknowledged is that gleason had a decade of destroying most of west tn. I guess the reason all those esteemed players that you and dudeutm listed were as good as they were is because we had so many girls to choose from each year and there had to be talent with so many to pick from. I give credit where it is due, Gleason has had alot of young women with unbelievable work ethic and determination but I have seen many bigger, more athletic teams get beaten by those little slow Gleason girls year in and year out and the blame is always thrown on their coaches. "If you win it's the players, if you lose it's the coaches" I guess it comes with the territory. But if you wanna start trading facts then just let me know because you will look like more of a fool than you already do.

I agree with you lenny26, the talent level at Gleason was not as high in 02' as it has been in previous years and the talent in 03' was not even old enough to get behind the wheel of a vehicle. However, I would not call winning a district championship this season too much of a "butt whippin". I don't think we built our standards up too high for ourselves, I guess it's you that holds our program in such a high regard when you feel that winning a district championship is a down year. It shows your intelligence level to compare the gleason and dresden programs. When the lady lions win a couple gold balls, or better yet, make it to the dance 10 or 12 times, then we can talk. Make sure your still around the board this time next year lenny so you can see how class acts that have been there before handle their success. Another batch of those lady dawgs with that look in their eyes are comin lenny, I wouldn't fire em up!
