The 2 best 1A teams in the state. Both teams have showed that they deserve to be playing for the state championship. WC has an impressive record while McKenzie has overcome injuries and also played top notch competition. Hopefully the Lady Rebels can get the win. Should be one of the best games in Murfreesboro.

Hopefully it will be an injury free ballgame. Both McKenzie and Clay County are good teams or they wouldn’t be playing for the State Championship. Sure hope the McKenzie Rebels are victorious.

The Dresden/McKenzie game was better than the score indicated. Dresden is a tough team and will get the W against McEwen.

Gleason normally gets psyched up when playing McKenzie. But I think McKenzie gets the W

I don’t know what was said about McKenzie but I have respect for Trenton’s athletic programs. McKenzie and Trenton has had some great battles in football and baseball. Both schools leave it on the field and appear to respect each other although fans from both school get obnoxious at times.

McKenzie beat Moore County 10-6 to advance to State Playoffs.

Basically McKenzie and South Pittsburg posters have shown a lot of class. Hopefully this will be an injury free game and players and fans show class during the game. IMHO there is no underdog in this game as both team have a Mr. Football nominee and a team full of talented players. Both teams have had an exceptional season or they would not be in the Championship game.

Getting a lot of ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ from the Pirate faithful. Pirates are good or the would not be playing in the Championship game for the second year in a row. Not sure which team is the underdog in this game. South Pittsburgh was runner up in Championship game in 2020. 5 state championships and 12 runner up trophys. Both teams will show up and give it all they got to be victorious. McKenzie is definitely not taking the Pirates lightly. Also playing the game in South Pittsburg area.
