  1. Maybe the score is lying to me, but you call a 38-34 victory by Moore County over Mt. Pleasant a whoopin?

Moore County got whipped by Jo Byrns and MtP beat Jo Byrns. You call Moore County that beat MtP 38-34 so much better than McKenzie that beat MtP 35-32??

Maybe it's just me, but by looking at who they played, Moore County doesn't look just all that great. MtP is the only team that McKenzie can be compared to outside of the West. Trousdale, Gordonsville, Tyner, Boyd, blah blah, it's all that my side is better, no my side is crap.

There is no way to really accurately compare the two sides yet you claim you're side is so much better, that we "haven't played anybody."

Did anybody from the East actually think JCS actually stood a chance against Friendship last year, probably not. But, guess what, JCS still won.

Who's better, who's not, will be determined on the field at the 'Boro, not here, not on film, no where else but on the turf. I'm looking forward to seeing this game, win or lose, McKenzie has worked so hard to get here, though they would like to walk out with the gold ball, they are honored at the chance they've the received to play at this event.

After Friday afternoon you will see the comparison.

  2. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> We been there for a couple of weeks now!!!! Nothing new to us. The thing is hardly any of them know anything about the Rebels at all!!! Heck, some have been telling us we were overrated since late September!!! Go figure?? Yeah, we have a website with some video clips they can check out and since that became known we have gotten at least a little more respect from the guys on the east end. Who knows what will happen next Friday afternoon?? For a fact, the Pirates best not walk into MTSU's stadium thinking they are already the champs!!! JCS brought the Gold Ball back to west TN last season just because folks thought we couldn't play over here on the west end.

I doubt that you will see a sensible McKenzie poster predicting a win yet we are coming to the 'Boro with the intention of doing just that.

Good luck to both teams and lets all hope for an injury free game!

    GO REBELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    FINISH THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    MRP!!!!!!!!!!

I am for SP but as I allways say" any team that makes it to the semis is allready a winner" all this mouthing is just that, it's all in fun. No doubt yall have an excellent team, one to be proud of. There will be no losers in Mboro in my book.

  3. Congrats to the Hampton Bulldogs. They seemed very classy. #44 was one heck of a ball player.

I think #12 was a go getter too. In fact I think the whole team played well and gave it their all. They all were champions on both teams as far as I am concerned. Any team that makes it to the semis is special.

  4. luck and ifs.................keep beleiving that stuff. you are one of the ones that was predicting a huge blowout. we played a lot closer than you all wanted, but you dont have to admit it, everyone knows it.

I know they ran right over your so called brick wall defence. Your 350 pounder got pushed all over the field. You are the one that said SP little backs would get flattened and wore out the first half. Hampton was the ones with their tongues hanging out at the end of the game. One thing sure Hampton went home. SP is going to Mboro.

  5. Hampton had to hear predictions of 56-0, win by 30, and all kinds of crazy stuff. They do not have a good defense, and like I said earlier, if you can throw, you will do just fine.

defence was good enough. It held yall to 28 points actually 21 as you lucked out on that fumble. You held SP to 42 but it would have been 49 if they had chosen to score. Any team that can't score over 28 on SP is whipped period.

  6. McKenzie is over-rated!!! Right duckman, butchie, vols, etc... They are lucky to be at 13-1...They are lucky to have what 5 or 6 shut outs this season???? McKenzie has no chance according to these experts who have never seen McKenzie play lol!!! It's all good though because you'll get a little dose of a kid with the last name of Carr...Don't be surprised if they drop 35 or 40 points on ya South Pittsburg folks...I'm telling you they just didn't get lucky and win 13 games this season...Keep thinking McKenzie has no chance...you might be surprised /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Hampton said the same thing. So did Trousdale, Friendship and Gordonsville. The state game was S.P. vs Trousdale. It's been over quite some time. It's just a matter of tying up some loose ends.

    SP 49

    M 14

  7. I understood what he was trying to say that a bigger line doesn't always equal a better line but Copper Basin was probably a poor choice to use for a comparison /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> . Like I posted earlier I saw Hampton last year in the Semis and I have seen some film from this year and Hampton isn't slow. They are not as fast as SP but they are pretty quick in their own right. The SP fans might be surprised but the coaches and players won't be surprised...they know what they are up against. I think all the SP fans and Hampton fans need to realize that these 2 teams are the best teams either has faced all year...both are one of the best 4 teams in 1A. Being 13-0 and in the Semis is no small accomplishment

I think Tyner would have destroyed Hampton. Trousdale and Gordonsville would have beat them. SP will run all over them and the final score will be

    SP41

    Hampton 13

I'll be here after the game to eat crow if I am wrong.

  8. Then quit bringing it up, KRaP. That was probably me you spoke to after the game :thumb: I'm a very sore loser. Can't get over it, its like an addiction. I was actually a South Pitt fan till i started posting on coachT, and saw your lieing, desrespectful comments towards us. Now, I despise you guys.

You break my heart. I have nothing to do with SP. I went to school at Murfreesboro Central. I sure wish Coach T wasn't so religious I'd like to tell you what I think of you also. As for lying and disrespect. You deserve the disrespect. You are a liar and I'll tell it to your face and whoop your ###### if you don't like it.

  9. fans cuss fans after every game that still doesnt change the fact that we shook everyones hands and changed clothes in the dressing room, i dont care if you were there, and my parents along with everyone else's parents were at our field house when we got back, we didnt beat anyone back, i know you dont like TC just like i dont like most privates, but im not gonna sit here and read lies your posting about me and my teammates, i know with God as my witness what you are posting on here is false, and you do to

If you were one of the players that shook hands then I apologize to you. My son was on the SP team and he says and I saw also 99% would not shake hands. I was at the 1998 game in Hartsville and I couldn't help but admire your team for coming from behind and beating us fair and square and said so to your players and fans but I tell you this, the next year when we won neither your players or your fans acted civil towards us except for a small few. I tried to say good game and have a safe trip back to several of your players and fans and they all told me to go to ----. I have never had that to happen with any team before or since. Cloudland didn't even act like that and they were stuck on themselves worse than any team I have ever seen. They also didn't act that way when they lost to CAK. Those actions were typical only of TC. And that's the truth. Maybe they have changed. I don't know one way or the other and don't really care.

  10. krp i believe this is the second time iv had to correct you on this point, 99 TC v/s S.P. I PLAYED in that GAME, i SHOOK everyones hand and i got on the bus in my STREET CLOTHES because i changed in the locker room your stating fiction, in a sense your lying. your flushing your credibility down the toielet and why dont you make a list of ALL those privates we were running from and then go back and see what happened in all those games we played them in before, and just let that sink in for a few minutes...........................then think why would a team run from programs that they have consistitly been beating? maybe because they weren't even a factor in us going to 3a :o maybe trousdale decided they could quit having to fill every season with out of state teams by renewing rivalries with surrounding counties and try their game at a higher level? but no this couldnt be....not without the privates playng a role in this....................i know we could say that trousdale RAN from the privates ...............yeah thats the argument. the fact is privates had not so much to do with us going up and down, you guys just feel left out and are still mad you couldnt beat us much(if any in some cases)so it makes you feel better to say we ran from yall :( ..........whatever i dont care but it is funny to grown men (i guess) complain about it so much :D:P:D

I was standing on the field and I know what I'm talking about. And the fans were cussing SP fans and players like they committed some kind of crime by beating them. as for the privates, Bull yalls coach saw the writing on the wall concerning the privates. He said so himself in the papers for all to see. Yall would have went no where in 1A for the last 5 years and you know it. Maybe you can covince yourself you sure won't nobody else.

  11. Trousdale wins this one.

I agree. TC has not won the state in 6 years since 1998. They appear to be having an up year with an excellent team. It's hard for 1A teams to be on top year after year they usually are down the year or years following an up year. It just might be their year. Of course it hasn't hurt that the privates are gone. If they weren't I think the playoff contenders would all have different names. Still nothing should be taken away from TC they play hard and deserve what they accomplish, but so do all the other teams also.

  12. Good luck! By the time they are fully able to comprehend your request,Mboro will have come & gone.......Shock&Awe thang that TC does to their opponents, sometimes takes 2 to 3 wks to get over&reallize they are still on good ole mom erth.......tho you might try to find them at ole toof ferys place gittin ther front perlys put back in.

It seems everyone has forgotten TC hasn't won the state since 1998. It's been 6 years. It not like they win it every year. And don't say they would have if they would have stayed 1A they would not have. This year they undoubtly have an excellent team, but they won't every year. If this years team is comparable to 1998 team then they will go all the way. Usually down years follow up years so if they win congratulate them and start preparing for next year.

  13. I, ll post on this one time, South Pitt beat Greenback 20 to 16,alot of people said Greenback should have won, Coalfield beat the same Greenback 40 to 6 and probably let up. Hampton beat Coalfield 26 to 14, you do the math.

With all due respect, this was the first game SP QB had played in High School. They got a lot better as time went on. I can't believe no one is talking about the weather. Snow really slows down a fast team.

  14. We dropped to 1a to see how many crybabies were there, evidently there's a bunch. They split up the 3a region we were in(mostly local teams), why would we stay and have to drive 75-100 miles to play an away game? Why doesn't your team travel to the other side of the state every other Friday night. Open your eyes, fool. We DONT RUN from anyone, we DO RUN over them though. I'm 99% sure we asked THE ALMIGHT RIVERDALE for a game in 97-98, but they wouldn't schedule us, as for the reason, well you'd have to ask coach Rankin for that answer. We offered they refused. Oh yea you better check our records vs the privates, last night we beat a private school, and we are 15-2 against them all time. We played the privates every yr in the playoffs and loved it. The guys who say we ran, well they never got to play them privates cuz they couldn't get that far in the playoffs.

No, you dropped to 1A cause the big bad privates went to 2A and 3A the reason for the 15 and 2 is you ran like rabbits in 2000 when the privates hit their stride and you're still running or you would still be in 3A. Didn't nobody tell you to go up in the first place except your fear of the privates nobody begged you back down except the privates moving up. Everyone else stayed and played Yall ran. Now that they are gone you are stll running, your mouths that is. What would you have done to Riverdale in 99. South Pittsburg tore you up so bad yall got on the bus with your pads on and wouldn't even shake hands. The team almost beat the fans home and the fans got a head start. The next year CPA did the same. The next year yall hauled --- to 3A.

  15. You are obviously practicing your right as a resident of Tennessee (Road Kill Bill) and wearing out that dog that has been run over so many times. Please, let that dead dog rest in peace. My son attends a 5A school with an enrollment of over 1,600 students, and they probably do not have over 50-60 kids on the football team. What is the reason? I do not know, possibly tradition. That is why the teams you have listed are there year after year. It is because of tradition. Again let the enrollment issue go.

I wasn't quoting specifics just generalizing that the more to pick from the better the chance to pick a good one. I don't understand why this riles everyone I wasn't complaining just observing the facts. You can factor in tradition, willingness and everything else but it still comes down to if tou go by the math only, the bigger has an advantage over the smaller. Also the ones that can take players from all locations have an advantage over the ones that are restricted to their own county or city.

  16. Trousdale has about 26 dressing. KRP is looking for an excuse as to why South Pitt got beat thats all.

I haven't said anything about the size of the team it's the amount one has to chose from. It takes a fool that can't see if you were going to pick an army you would do better if you had 2000 to pick from than 1000. Some schools have less than 200 others near 400. The 400 has alot more choices than the 200. Why do you think they have classifications if they didn't I gurantee the ones saying this would be hollering if they had to play an enrollment of 800 so why can't the 200 fuss about the 400. How many dressed out has nothing to do with it. Riverdale could dress out their top 20 and tear yall and the rest of the 1A up. Because they had 1200 to pick those 20 from. This just makes sense. Surely they teach enough math in your school for you to grasp this.

  17. It seems enrollment does matter. Of the 4 left in 1A 3 came down in classification and barely made 1A enrollment the 4th Jo Byrns has almost 300 (293) so they are large also. Hampton 393. TC 366. Union City 391. There goes the arguement size doesn't matter. It does!
