Well you are missing my point MTA7 and now I see why.(you are from McEWEN) Nobody said you had to sacrifice any type of academics to have a successful football program. That's another reason Waverly doesn't get supported because people from McEwen cry when Waverly gets something and you don't. One more thing yeah we have a number of guys that play basketball and baseball but they lift weights everyday(6th period)whether its another season or not. I know for a fact at Waverly if you play another sport you are done weightlifting when the football season is over.

I have interest in both programs and to me the big difference between the two programs is off season weight training and community support. The athletes are pretty similar but Camdenhas all 5 coaches working in the weightroom 2 weeks after the season till opening week. Papatiger maybe you can get some things moving because I know you support Waverly football.

Papatiger some friendly advice. Coach graves is doing a decent job but if you guys want to get to Camden's level(I know you don't want to hear it but it's true)a few things need to be changed.#1. You need at least 5 coaches who coach only football,that way you can have a serious off-season weight program.#2 If your head coach has to coach basketball either he is underpaid or not committed.#3. Finish the fieldhouse, I mean come on Camden can build a huge fieldhouse with the public's money,Waverly has to have private donations because the school system won't give them enough money. Also heard the Jr. high coach was approached by a local businessman wanting to build them a workout facility and the principal at the Jr. High said NO!

No dought Camden has a good team this year but you "newbies" don't know much about Camden football history. The best team "ever" don't think so,not by playing the schedule they play nowdays!

If Camden had been playing in this WEAKA$$ region in previous years.... THE TROPHY CASES WOULD BE FULL!!!!

The word I've been getting(from people in Carroll County associated with the football team) is that he is not working as hard as in the past,afraid to hurt,and is listening to his dad telling not to ruin his future.

I believe the over-rated crap was started by the Camden coaches to get their boys pumped up and it just got bigger and bigger and was said that the Waverly players and coaches said it. Well I guess it worked.

The way he is playing this year let him go to Notre Dame. He's playing not to get hurt and is not giving much of an effort. After the Camden game I said yeah he should go ahead and commit to Tennessee ..........Martin that is!!!!!

Lions4ever you are wrong on your records(as usual you dumbA$$) but does it really matter the past is the past.

Until Waverly gets serious about a football program they will keep losing to teams like Camden who support it very well. It seems support for football in Waverly has dropped in the last few years. Basketball and softball rule now. I like their coaches but there are only 3(Camden has 5) and heck they can't even get enough money to finish their feildhouse which is half the size of Camden's.

I think he will change one thing, taking a knee(instead of fumbling) if they are ahead at the end of the game and the other team out of timeouts!!!!

Well I didn't get to attend the game but with Martin out of timeouts and around 2:00 on the clock Why didn't Camden just take a knee????

If Waverly loses they need to drop football!!!!!!!

I know one thing Hickman Co. wins the ugly uniform award!!!!!

One win and you have turned it around? You beat a Lewis Co. team that is worst in a few years because they are young and rebuilding remember that. You also are fortunate to drop in classification.

No it won't be a repeat of 2002 I'll promise you that those boys were freshmen then and alot of them started or played alot. Now it might 28-0 but the other way around.

Your mind is evidently twisted because the only thing I have said is that the last 2 yrs.years there has been the best talent at Camden SINCE 1983. We all know the 1983 team was one of the best in school history and played the toughest schedule. GET IT RIGHT!!!!
