WHo is the QB for Wayne County. Is it ???? Rice? Not sure of his first name. Saw the Middle School play last year and was impressed with Coach Rice's son. I am sure he was an 8th grader last year.

I am not debating anything. I am stating fact. For the second year in a row, Forrest High School is the last public school standing in Single A softball. Look at the tournament bracket and see if I am right. I will go ahead and tell you that I am correct. So with that said, congrats for a great season.

Good luck to Kalah next year as she continues her playing career at Columbia State. Don't be suprised if they are back again. The Rockets lost one senior and have one junior on the team. Should be interesting in 08.

If Cascade is th ebest team this district has to offer, the district is in trouble. They are good, but they have some holes. Stewart and Bowman are tough outs, but the rest of the lineup is suspect at best.

Your crazy Duck. Forrest is 6-8. Only one of those losses is to a single A team. We lost to Summertown A, Marshall Co AA(2), Giles Co AA, Lorretto AA, Lawrence Co AAA, Soddy Daisy AAA, Shelbyville AAA. Has Cascade played a schedule that tough. I don't think so. As for players, he are pretty good. We hammered the ball in the Riverdale tournament. Could have won three games if we could have pitched our best pitchers. WE pitched freshman and soph. Oh well. We will see who is the TEAM after Tues night.

I was at the Forrest/VB game on Tues. VB basbeall team must have been struck by a terrible case of the flu and left their "prospects" at home because I did not see any college prospects on the field. Maybe they are going to college to study because there was not a single one of them that could play at the next level. VB led by all their prospects lost to Forrest 15-0 and 14-1. If VB has colledge propects, all of the kids on the Forrest team will be drafted in the first two rounds of the MLB draft.

MC needs a coach that will discipline the all player regardless of talent level. In order to run a succesfull program, one needs to practice what he preaches and show good discipline and character in his personal life.

The question is not who wins, but who cares. This game is for last place in the region. Now with that said, Who really cares?

Would someone please list the tournament schedule and pairings. I would like to some watch some of these games. It should be a great tournament.

I saw Page play Chapel Hill last week and I was not impressed. Has the program gone in the tank or are they just having "one" of those years? They should be alot better than they are.

Forrest 12 Huntland 1 Mikie Minor faced 24 batters tonight and struck out 21 of them. He gave up 2 hits and his first earned run of the year. Is the 21 strike outs for a 7 inning game a state record? I think that it is.
