The Page Lady Patriots opened the regular season with a win over CPA 3-1 (25-11, 23-25, 25-11, 23-19) The Page JV also won 2-1 (25-14, 20-25, 15-7). I'll have further details later.

The Mid-TN Classic (Oct. 9 & 10) is now being held at A-Game Sportsplex in Cool Springs.

Here is a portion of an email that Blackman Coach Mary Dayton sent me:

The Mid-Tenn Classic that is held Oct. 9-10 is moving to the A-Game Sportsplex in Cool Springs. The awesome thing about the move is that I now have access to 12 courts and can make the 36-team tournament larger. I can increase the size of the tournament if I get 10 more teams interested in participating. There have been 34 additional changes to the schedule. Some of these changes involve opponents and some involve changes in courts. Also if your team is playing at Brentwood Academy, Court 6 will now be at the high school gym instead of the middle school gym. I would advise all coaches to check in at the Brentwood High main gym early Saturday morning to make sure that there have been no last minute changes.

PHargis: As far as I know, the teams and schedule are correct. I will check early this morning at the main gym at Brentwood to be sure. I'll be watching Page vs Collierville at 9 AM on Court 1 before heading to the Middle School for matches with Houston and Siegel at 11 AM and 1 PM respectively.
