  1. Hardin could not run the ball any and after brighton made a halftime adjustment the wrs could not get off the line. Hardin county has the most unathletic team they have had in several years. Not seeing how they went undefeated. If they get melrose or mitchell 1st round they better watch out cause speed will kill them. Wish I lived in hardin County must be nice to live in such an optimistic place

Sorry I quit reading your post when you said Hardin County is "unathletic." I don't speak retard west tn. football fan, but are you trying to say that they don't have athletes on their team? Hardin County always has many athletic players especially the past two years with D-1a signees.

  2. Your right about my last score it was terrible pick, HC should have been up 21-0 at half but for the mistakes. Get ready though if the Tigers QB doesn't play dont get your hopes up that much we got a athlete on the team (#5) who had 150 receiving yards and 2 td's last week, and has 4 picks on the year. They have it planned to put him at QB and run alot of speed sweets and wild tiger formation which he has scored alot on this year. This game will be close.

Why are you telling everyone what they are going to do?

  3. People! People! We talk Region 7-4A here! No need for fussin' and fightin'! And why am I the only Hardin County fan around here??? Anyways...about the Brighton-Hardin County game...if any of you people had been watching...Hardin County beat themselves. They went from running a cover-3 defense (which they had been doing all year) to running a cover-1. They practiced the cover-1 for the one little week of the Brighton game. They ran cover-1 in order to prevent the pass...guess what. Brighton ran the ball all night. By the time the 2nd half rolled around and the tigers had changed back to their old defense, they were too tired to do anything. I'm sorry but Brighton wasn't that good, and Hardin County isn't as bad as they looked. Just goes to show you that when you get too fancy, over-respect a team, and change what you've been doing all year...you get beat. Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but Henry County is going to destroy Brighton. Henry County won't make the same mistake we did. Regardless, hats off to Brighton anyway. /happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="^_^" border="0" alt="happy.gif" />

Well i saw the game and hardin county looked like an 8th grade team to brighton...except for their qb he looked legit and probably is the only one keeping them able to be in the playoffs this year.

  4. Congratulations Hardin County with the 30-6 win. They might even give Henry County a scare! I thought Hardin wouldn't be able to move the ball with out schutt the wide receiver and kick returner from last year but this year their offense did well with just gilchrist at qb. Munford didn't look to good this year so they'll definitely fight for a playoff spot this year.

  5. Your sarcasm is noted however people keep punting to him and I've watched enough film to note that defensively teams aren't doing the things I noted so maybe it's not that obvious after all?

Hardin county has gotten alot better since the munford game. Yes shutt was coming off an injury and him and the QB didn't have a very good night but ever since that they've had no problem throwing the ball. Teams even keeping kicking him the ball after he returns it for 50 or more yards as you can tell on the highlight film posted earlier

  6. If you want to get a good look at some of the passing Hardin County does then go look at Sam Shutt's senior highlight video...you can CLICK HERE

Pretty nice 6 minute video tell me what you henry county people think

    Or Here

Very nice video...just shows how good the hardin county's qb and reciever are.

Also, hardin county's qb is the jackson sun player of the week this week

  7. I'm already starting to get a little nervous. From what i've heard hardin can throw the ball pretty good and we've been inconsistent against the pass. but, i don't see them stopping our run either. all in all I think it's gonna be a good one in savannah.

Hardin County does throw the ball quite well. If you have both a division 1 QB and WR out there (and when i say D-1 i mean already with offers) then the other team better be expecting them to throw quite well, but the past few games hardin county hasn't thrown that much because their running game was working so well. Oh and as for the band parents, wouldn't doubt it at all if they were rude. Im sure they didn't mean it and those parents are really serious about that stuff and don't won't anything gettin in their way even if it be the football team.

  8. Henry county's record is 8-1 and Hardin County's is 7-2...both pretty good records. Henry county players better be prepared for a very tough atmosphere in Savannah. I expect this game to be one of the biggest games ever played there (besides the NIAA national championship games) and you know the fan support is huge for both teams. I expect the tough atmosphere to be a huge factor in this game

  9. As far as the region goes, I think it is fair to say that the region as a whole is down. Although it's still early, JCM and Liberty are pitiful, Northside is one-dimensional,
    Hardin Co. is disappointing

, Brighton is an unknown now after their win, and both Henry Co. and Munford don't appear to be as good as last year. Luckily for region 7, it also appears that region 8 is having their difficulties with the mess going on at Melrose. So while I won't disagree that the top 3 teams could all beat each other on a given night, the bottom half of the region really does drag it down a notch. It's not like this region is similar to region 6 AAAAA from last year.

How is Hardin county disappointing? There only loss in the region is munford and they already have beatin northside and brighton

  10. The meaningful part of the season is here, a slip up could cost a team the regional title, a team getting hot right now could win the regional title, who is going to emerge inthe final 5 weeks of regional play. Front runner would have to be Henry county right now but folks that is just on paper. Munford does not seem to be anyless that what they were last year except in cougar mikes words which may just be that smoke screen. NS seems tobe a very talented and improved foootball team and could make a run. Hardin county has slipped it seems and is not as good as I had expected them to be, but I know the Tigers normally finish strong. Liberty seems to be finding some offense and with a little confidence these boys could upset some folks as welll. JCM is the always most dangerous team in the rteregion but generally the biggest underachievers, will this year be different or do they surprise no one and stay at the bottom with the most talent. Brighton, a little down this year and tonights game with Munford is their chance to get things rolling, things could snow ball for them if they do not win tonight, they have Henry county coming to town next week.

My predictions have not changed much

    1. henry county

    2. Munford

    3. Northside

    4. LIberty/Hardin coutny

    5. JCm

    6. Brighton

i wonder how u can put liberty at the # 4 sport when they haven't won a game in the region and only one game all season i see it like this

    1)Henry Co.

    2)Hardin Co./ Munford

    3)J. Northside

    4)Brighton

    5)JCM

    6)Liberty

  11. Maybe the whole Mcnairy team can learn a lesson by not trash talking at all and just play the game. Too many thugs and dumb redneck country boys on that team, I dont even see how the team gets along because thats usually isn't a good mix. Also, i think shutt did talk with the way he plays and by that almost returning every kick/punt return you gave him. You probably have the stupidest kicker and punter in the whole state of Tennessee cause you just kept kicking it to him. Maybe you should realize that the whole mcnairy players has the worst attitude and class i've ever seen out of any team in high school football. I would be embarrassed if i was fan, player, or parent of the mcnairy football team.

  12. A confused YANKER cannot understand how he was beating the Munford DB's, yet you only scored seven points. Please explain...When DB's generally get beaten...it results in a touchdown, since they represent the last line of defense. I AM THE CONFUSED YANKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    [/quote

Confused Yanker...yes he was beating the db's but most of the time he was, the QB was getting sacked by defenders or running away from them. I just think the only reason munford shut shutt down was the playing calling by hardin county, they tried to throw the deep ball too many times when the db's were at least 8 yards off the ball. Now dont get me wrong munford had a good game plan going in i just think there were missed opportunities for hardin county in that game

  13. Brighton should win this game big. Who did Hardin have last week? Schutt is very talented but tight coverage and pressure on the Qb slows him done. Good luck to both teams.

Cougarmike...why should brighton win this game big? Also i will agree that munford slowed him down but he wasn't even supposed to play in that game and you could tell by seeing him limp around the field but for some odd reason he was still beating your db's?

  14. The reason i have not posted is cuz i did not go to the scrimage. I did here we dominated the hopkinsville team. But we knew before the scrimage that the Lone Oak team had a really good qb. I heard he was one of the top qb's. I dont know if that was in kentucky or nation. But if he is a top qb even in kentucky and we wasnt allowed to hit him then we couldnt really tell how good we can be. This friday's scrimage is supposed to like a regular game so we will find out how good we are really gonna be.

Just to show you how good Lone Oaks QB is, he is cousins with Sam Shutt from Hardin County. I saw them both at the Vandy camp and they were unstoppable together. I was told from many Lone Oaks fans that Henry County did not look good at all. I know this was just a scrimmage but still I thought HC would kill Lone Oak in the scrimmage.

  15. Well hello down there Yanker! It is good to be back posting again. You are correct in only one thing, I got no smarter in my post because I still don't know much about Munford or Brighton. But I will soon enough, I am a very thorough researcher. The obvious thing you were incorrect at is that the Mighty Patriots CAN (and will this Year!) win at the crumbling Rock. 10-0 is certainly a possibility.

You don't need to be worrying about Brighton and Munford...you need to be worrying about Hardin County i thought you would know this since your a "very thorough researcher"
