In a game that was under the radar, and did not get alot of publicity on the T, the Gordonsville FCA Tigerettes beat the Smith County FCA Owlettes 37-19. Coach Bob Dillard coached a great game using the jet sweep with Taryn Smith, while Jana Watson and Morgan Dillard came in at QB and had more passing yards than Jonathan Crompton on the whole season. Both teams played a great game. The game was put on by Campus Life, Young Life, each schools FCA group , and First Baptist Church Carthage. Great job to all who were involved.

Once heard Kevin Bray took the job for a day or two then got out. No practice or anything, but thats why I put a ? and stated I could be wrong. It was about 1986, between Huffines and Craighead.

Being a huge basketball fan I know that DCA has had some very good teams in the past. just wondering what type of team that they had this year?? The only time I remember upperman playing dca was in the sub-state at Avery Trace in cookeville. DCA had a huge team and jumped out big early. But Upperman won in overtime 102-100. One of the best games i have ever watched in any sport. Anyways just wondering what they brought to the table this year. look forward to hearing from the dca faithful..

I have McLeran with a defensive board, followed by the made 3 and two charges taken in the first quarter. George,you do an excellent job. No way anybody else comes close to this effort. I'll bet the kids really like looking at the stats too. Should make choosing all tourney easier when the stats are lined up all together like yours. Even if a little mistake slips in, thats OK, because unless you changed name to Jesus, we don't expect perfection and still applaude the effort.

These teams played a real barn-burner in Lafayette. A win would help both after big losses. A real pick me up going to regions. I predict OT.
