Trousdale county had 299 yds rushing,and 133 passing.Dustin dillehay had 123 rushing.Hampton had 145 rushing and 6 passing.tailback had 109.TC had 2 turnovers,hampton 0.

Trousdale county 14-12.Livingston had about 310 yds offense,to TC's 190 or so.LA had 297 rushing ;Qb had most of that i think.He is the man no doubt about it.TC returned a kickoff for a td,and had another return of about 50 yds,to set up the second td.LA's line looked to be pretty tired,but seemed to hold up until late.Hardest running group of backs I believe I've ever seen.Great game;everyone should have been there.

I'm from TC,and was at the game till the stands were empty and I didn't see any MC players do anything like that.My two cents on the best defense is probably Portland.We burned them on three long plays and that was all.MC probably #2,but portland gets my vote for the best.

#30 Sammy Dunn is ok.I think he was supposed to have an MRI today.He was at practice today with a neck brace,but he had it off a couple of times,and seemed to be doing fine.probably won't play this week,but should be back soon.

Trousdale County actually had almost 200 yds offense.Macon did have a lot more,but not 3 times more.Yes there were some MC fans on the home side,and also Smith County fans.I was surrounded by them.Great game MC;seems my yellow jackets don't have as much fight as usual,and don't really have a stand out leader.Gonna have to back to the drawing board and see if we can't get something fixed.

Roy James had 17 tackles against smith county.Five for loss,one sack.

There was a horn there,but I think it was brand new.I've heard the old one was safe and sound inside the borders of Trousdale County;but that could just be a rumor.

Both teams over 300 yds offense.Trousdale gave portland a safety with 7 sec to go to make it 16. Portland made a good run in the second half,but fumbled on the trousdale 10,TC recovered and scored on a 90 yd pass on the first play to make it 21-7.portland then drove for a td to make it 21-14.TC got it back;punted then intercepted a portland pass.Had a fourth down with 16 sec left and ran the punter out the back of the end zone for a safety.portland had one play left and threw a pass but the reciever was tackled. Portland again shows a lack of discipline and had another player kicked out the game,with 7 sec left.

The last time Trousdale county lost a home opener was 87.They lost in the semifinals last year at home.

Trousdale County's starters had the ball 4 times,and scored 4 times with a mix of run and pass.had one run of about 65 or 70 yards called back due to a penalty.had a lot more yards running than passing.Defense for MC was in position,but couldn't bring the backs down.Poor tackling for both teams.

Moore County's offense looked really good to me.They seemed to have some trouble in the first two quarters,but did manage to score on their opening drive.Trousdale county led at the end of two 21-7.Second team played third quarter with MC winning 8-0,and had another td called back for a hold.Fourth quarter TC scored once,and didn't get the ball back until 10 sec left.MC kicked a squib kick on one of their kickoffs,and trousdale county failed to recover it,so that led to MCs winning score.Pretty good game all the way around.Crowd was really into it,for a scrimmage.TC had two tds called back.One on a holding call,and one on a quick whistle on a kickoff return.Not really sure if MC had any called back on the starters,I know both teams had several plays called dead that would have gone for big plays in a real game.MCs DBs seemed to have some trouble.Decent coverage,but just couldn't seem to bring the recievers down.TC defense looked really good at times,and terrible at times.D-line needs some work.I think they were going to play another quarter with the starters,but decided against it.

There was a girl playing for trousdale counties jr. high team last year,who took a beating every day in practice,but always got up asking for more.She wasn't there to make some kind of point,she was there because liked football plain and simple.It's a tough sport but if they can take it,more power to 'em.

Trousdale County had 24 players during spring practice,not counting freshmen.There will probably be around 30-35 players by the time the season starts. The coaches poll from the region has Trousdale 1st portland ,and livingston tied for 2nd,Macon county 4th,and Smith county 5th.The rest of the region is pretty much up in the air.I guess the whole region is really up in the air,since they all have to play everybody else.Should be some very interesting friday nights.
