I know this forum is for high school softball, and I don't want to mislead anyone, but I am looking for one or possibly two high school freshmen that can play as 14 year olds to join our travel team. I coach the 14U Tennessee Xplosion. We are trying to make it to the ASA Nationals in Midland, TX and would like to have a couple of players, outfield or infield to join us. It doesn't matter if you live out of town we can work something out. I'm not going to get on here and tell you we're all that, we have a solid team that can play with anyone on any given day. Our strength is pitching and our ability to play good together as a team, we are lucky we have great kids. The Xplosion are holding their annual Summer Bash May 30th-June 1st, it is an ASA STATE & REGIONAL QUALIFIER, the format is 2 pool double elimination and all games are being played at Triple Creek and Municipal Parks in Gallatin. We are located in Nashville, have some players in Hermitage, Lebanon, Hendersonville, Gallatin. We have played in two tournaments thus far, we have two playing high school ball and are waiting for them to get back, neither is a pitcher. We will play in Huntsville, Birmingham (VIPER MEMORIAL), Springfield, Missouri(ASA National Qualifier), Murfreesboro, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Rock Hill, South Carolina(NSA World Series) and if we qualify Normal, Illinois(ASA Nationals). Thanks for the response. We are currently looking for a hitter, pure and simple, who can play anywhere, and wouldn't turn down a top pitcher either. We are trying to get back to the ASA Nationals, so we will play in several ASA regional and National Qualifiers. Thanks alot!!

The Tennessee Xplosion, a 13 year old girls travel softball team is looking for players to fill out our 2003 and beyond roster. We are going to two ASA National qualifiers(Chicago, Illinois and Springfield, Missouri) and will also travel to other states as Alabama, Georgina and South Carolina, and will hold our own ASA Regional Qualifing tournament. The Tennessee Xplosion are looking for one more experienced player to fill out our 2003 roster. Most of the team has been together for three years and longer, and are looking for that special someone to join a great group of talented young ladies who, like their coach, love to have fun.
