You're right ELA , all pitchers have their bad days and West struggled with location last night and defense struggled behind him some; however, Waverly was held to one run during the first game with the new freshman pitcher. He does seem to be their new ACE. Congrats to Waverly. Couple of tense moments last night but you held it together. Teamwork is your biggest asset. Keep playing tough and enjoying it!

Waverly / Stewart County game will be played at Dover today around 4:30. Waverly's field still not ready.

Waverly/Stewart Co. suppose to play at Waverly tomorrow (Wed). The field is still really wet. We will see what Coach Cash decides tomorrow. Will post as soon as a decision is made.

I agree with you. This year Waverly is playing with a fundamentally sound defensive team. Teamwork seems to be their biggest asset. I hope this young team continues to improve and to work together. Good Luck Waverly next week in district.
