Today is my 9th anniversary on Coacht.......wow.......still root for my Patriots. Looking forward to another competitve season and "exchanging" info and posts on here.

Talked to some of the coaches a few months back. They thought they could be pretty good. They need some more people at some positions.

Daniels was leaving at the end of the season anyway.

Hope the rest of the staff is in place.

Well....I lost faith in ol' Murphy when I saw how "little" actual time he spends on this and how much he relies on a network of "good ol' boy imput.

Poor Murphy still thinks that the coach at Marshall County is Coach Mac.......(who he called a lot of times for help)

My prediction is this......the 4a winner will NOT come out of the east...."unless" there are so many cupcakes that the "winner" over has talent and has such a soft schedule....that they cakewalk to the finals......otherwise...????

Now, that being said, I was not really impressed with either team. Then I was reading another thread where someone thought Giles would beat Alcoa. Really? I feel certain that six of the teams playing last weekend would beat Giles, possibly more.

 

I'm not sure what everyone else saw and this is just my opinion, but outside of being able to throw the ball real far, I don't think he was anything special. Several other qbs looked better over the course of the three days. Didn't see a lot of other "standout" players on the field during this game either. Just my opinion, but I thought both teams looked pretty weak.

 

But at the end of the day they were both there playing for it and congratulations to Giles on the win.

Hmmmm....and you are basically an idiot.....I was not really impressed with your comments and I didn't see anything special about you or your comments or anything that would "standout".....I saw about 58 posters on here who posted better comments than you.....just my opinion but you were pretty weak and at the end of the day you were in there saying absolute drivel. Those true Greeneville fans have spoken.....but those idiots who think they "almost" won....welllll...let me say ....I saw too much over the last few years to know that what happened Saturday was no fluke cause I saw Giles do it time and time again......but Jonesy....c'mon down you can be the next contestant to see who really won the gold ball!!!

There is a very small difference in Gile now vs a guy like Jonesy and it is "one" letter.

First thing congratulations to Giles Co. and in that same sentence Merry Christmas as well, on a gift wrapped game. The best team did not win, and everyone knows that, even the announcers that called the game. You guys were a one man show and he's gone now, so good thing you got it while you could. See Greeneville is young and I'm sure will become a regular in the 4a playoffs, you guys are one and done.

 

As for the guy who said Bo was the best QB in Tn, wrong Barry Brunetti holds that title.

Sure looked like GC made plays all over the field.....and BO was a big difference maker...only a chump would try to take that away from them....and yes......Bo Wallace is the best QB in 4a ....never heard Barry B...did he win a championship?

Congrats to the Bobcats.......what a win. Like I said...I am proud to have been a fan of one of the teams that gave Giles a really close game.

NOW....I sure hope that everyone knows what we have already seen. Giles is never out of it on offense with a QB like BO.......and we are glad to see him finally go after seven years............ha!

Great game.............but like I said pick your poison....you load up on the run and Bo drop 300+ yds on ya.....been there.

BB line was huge but got stood up most of the time and were pushed around.

TC's coach admitted on air about his play calling boo-boos, but I feel he was confident in his team and that they would NOT give up any long runs or passe.

The BEST team won.....now....where is Mayfield??

Congrats to the Bobcats....they earned it....I am proud for them and i am proud that my team gave them one of their best games of the year earlier in the season.

And....Greeneville played a good game......Now.....you know both "teams" were very good... and great plays were made by a lot of people..........

Now I know that these posts don't mean anything to the teams as far as Bulletin board material.....but I will say two things about this thread.

1- There has been enough posts on here to wallpaper a whole neighborhood of homes or enough toilet paper for both communities for a year.

2- If we could take this group of posters and put them online with arabic translations ....the Taliban would be begging to surrender in a week and our troops would be home in a flash.

I will go on the record though that Giles will take over in the 4th quarter and win the gold ball and hopefully all that noise from the Chattanooga area will cease.

I saw where a few Greeneville fans showed up at the Giles County practice field today and threw firecrackers at the GC players......that wasn't too bad though...the real trouble came when the GC players picked up and "lit" the firecrackers and threw them back at the Greeneville folks....BANG BANG what a mess!!!! I have to say that if you Greeneville fans keep trying to play the "people don't respect us" card, it sure isn't going to work with GC. Obviously both teams deserve to be there.............but from my biased opinion.....GC has too much overall team speed and ...speed kills.....

I think those mountain boys are trying a little game of intimidation....a VERY weak game at that.

I think that GC has too many matchups for Greeneville....and GC has some guy named Bo on their side.

You will get to meet him up close and personal...A LOT!!!!

I have listened to this whole game.....Liberty has moved the ball on Giles and had ONE huge play on offense for a TD. On the other hand GC has run wild and passed at will.

BUT the only thing that has stopped Giles has been Mr. Fumble...two drives stopped inside the 5 yd line.....otherwise this would have been a major blowout.....GC has too much offense and Liberty has NO answer on defense.....did I say NO answer on defense. If I was the Giles punter I would be pissed off because he never got into the game to punt.

Like I said defense wins championships. Liberty has some good players but GC obviously has the BEST team no doubt.

I take great pride that my team gave Giles the best game so far this season.
