  1. Very good. Great composure on the mat. Solid wretler.
  2. Scooby is right. Green is Tough. Heck. Walline is Tough. Tisdale is tough. I don't know anything about any of these other guys in the lower branch of the bottom bracket as I haven't seen any of them. I do know that it will be fun to watch these guys settle this debate on the mat.
  3. Have Kirn and Spencer wrestled 3 times? I was aware of only the once where Kirn pinned him at the GP West for third. It seems that that tournament established the current "rankings" 1-3, where they Spencer losing to Meredith in semis, Kirn Losing to MD Kid in Semis, Spencer beating Weakly, Kirn Beating Spencer, Meredith beating the MD kid 22-9 in the Finals. Then Spencer was ill or something when RHS and FHS wrestled again.
  4. Who's performance and ability "stood out" the most. outstanding Who was the best of the best for that given tournament, that is who should get the award. You don't reward a career, a season, or even a person you like, but the wrestler who was the best for that given tournament. That is what I think. And that doesn't have to do with how many team points they score. when a Cael Sanderson beats a Lee Fulhart by a point that isn't worth less than when a Jordan Lean beats a Freshman by 15 points.
  5. D1 Nic Bundy Coleman (from 2 years ago) D2 Dunning Cleveland Smith Marable
  6. Very good analysis. and looking at it again I think 112 could go either way as well. Konz has come a long way since their 4-2 match at the McCallie
  7. I believe Roger Kish of Michigan never lost in High School. 263-0 I think Joe Williams of Illinois lost once by disqualification for a slam (it was a bogus call) as a fresman keeping him from being the first to do it in Illinois.
  8. I am a wrestling fan. I want to watch both. Keep them together. Splitting them up would just make the stands emptier than they already are.
  9. FHS 33 Baylor 29 I agree that Dustin Ortiz is a very good wrestler but at 125 Manson would at least tech him if he didn't pin him This is the Guy who beat Whit Dunning Friday Night Otherwise I agree with you retired rebel. Leach is a stud and would pin the Baylor Heavy weight.
  10. Also close enough to know that it seems to be a "fuel tank issue." Meaning Cody seems to fade as the match progresses. waddel doesn't. I think it's the size difference. Cody seems small next to the other three guys we've mentioned.

  12. There is also the factor that Cody is the smallest 145 pounder I have seen.
  13. Yeah, me too. My point was that if Cleveland wasn't there Konz or Barnett or who whoever would could likely win.
  14. I didsagree, and I reference the McCallie Tournament. The top TN finisher there was Franklin, a D 1 team. Most of the top D 2 teams were there ( Ryan, McCallie, Baylor, etc.) and Franklin who has only a couple of the best of what D 1 has to offer was battling it out with a top Georgia team for the championship. Therefore I do not think Baylor's team could beat a team made up of the D1 state champs. that is a big exageration. As for d1-d2 all stars. I would say this year based on state champion predictions. 103 would go to D2 112 to D1 119 D2 112 D2 130 D2 135 D1 140 D2 145 D2* 152 D2 160 D2 171 D1 189 D1 215 D1 275 D2 D2 Wins with Champions vs. Champions *If Cody Cleveland is there. If he goes down I give it to D1 as Konz of Franklin has beaten Waddel of Baylor. Going any deeper and I believe it would sway the other way. like 2s vs 2s or 3s vs 3s etc. D2 has the top but D1 has the depth.
