For a list of teams already signed up for the tournament you can go to the Cookeville Softball website. I completed the list from memory and left about 5 or 6 teams out. The official list is at school and I will update it on monday. When you get to the website find the tab that says The Duff 2005 Website address: www.cookevillesoftball.org

"The Duff" Cookeville Invitational will be held on April 22-23 in Cookeville, Tennessee. We had a great tournament last year and are looking for an even better one this coming year. Thanks to all who came last year and we hope you will all come back this year. Invitations have already been sent out. If any coach did not get one and you would like some information, just use one of the following modes of contact and I will get the information to you. Cookeville High School Golf Team will again host the Cookeville Invitational to be held at White Plains Golf Course on Monday August 16. Any coaches interested in registering your team or wanting more information please call Coach Sam Brooks @ 931-528-5220.

I would like to take a minute to thank all the teams and coaches for coming to Cookeville and playing in "The Duff". We really appreciate your patience on friday when the rain came just before the first games were about to start. What an exciting weekend it ended up being. I would also like to thank all my field managers and parents, without all of their help there is no way I could make it through the weekend. Hope to see you all again next year.

I definately appreciate the positive attitude on the forecast deadeye. I hope that forecast is a correct one. See you all tommorrow in cookeville (I hope!!)

Coach Vpr, The Exit you need to look for is Exit 288. It is also the Highway 111 entrance ramp. Take 111 north about 2 miles to the Algood-Cookeville exit and then take a lfet onto 10th street and then go to the 2nd red light and take a right onto fisk road. Take the first red light left and you will run right into Cookeville High.

We need one more team to complete our field of 40. Cordova dropped out at the last minute. Any coaches interested can give me a call at either number 931-260-7873, 931-528-5220, and 931-520-2287 (ext 2281)
