  1. Hey Lexinton or Crockett or Bolivar fans! Can we get any Lexington scores for the Crockett County or Bolivar games? They beat McNairy, but looking at the Bobcat scores so far, this may be a down year for them...a five point Tiger loss to Union City may not be all that bad! I am going to be watching to see how we move the ball & shoot on the outside. As I remember, last year Lexington controlled Bain at their house (13 points?) and he scored 26 at Camden and Martin had a bunch, but that was it. They are very familiar with Jarrod & will probably scheme to "control" him, see if we can beat them without our strength... Hmm....French/Boyd 3-pointers maybe? The REST of the team will have to share the load & move without the ball to create some space inside. Lat'er go! GO LIONS!
  2. "but there is also a difference between dicipline and just being too serious. " Well said, 8675309 Jenny. You would just like to think that there could be some balance between "learning discipline and basketball" and "playing the GAME". His record says that he knows how to coach, many times as a coach matures they learn to make it fun... Wild to think that signs go up in the front yard that quick! Good luck!
  3. The Lexington scores are not filled in very well, but I don't see any big wins so far... The best part about the Waverly game was how the ball was shared. It really was a TEAM win! Congrats to the players on working together to beat a very good Tiger team. GO LIONS!
  4. Desmond Zollicoffer & Ben Hampton both came back (first starts of the year), while Reed was fighting the flu bug last week. It was a great game from start to finish! I just kept thinking the Tigers were going to go 3-point crazy & take it away, but it really was a team win. I can't get over Josh Boyd throwing the ball in the hole! With all he does on a football field, it is impressive to watch him mature as a round-baller! Congrats to the Lions! The Tigers can be next, looks like to me...no real quality wins...we shall see! GO LIONS!
  5. FWIW: Watched WC lose to Camden in the HHS Jamboree, 34-29, and it wasn't even that close. Camden up 21-14 at half & kind of cruised. The WC big man seemed to get into foul trouble, may have been the refs kind of looking for him... It will be interesting to see what happens v/s Greenfield.
