Does anybody have any information on the U17 Brentwood Inferno team. just like what kind of team it is as far as level of skill and that kind of stuff.

it's really sad and pathetic, not to mention cowardly of a any team to drive the score up like that to another team, and it disgusts me that page would do that kind of thing. the score will be settled monday though, i can promise you that.

the guy was offsides b/c when he got the ball, he turned his back to goal so the ball was in front of him, putting him offsides. the call was right. not many refs call it, but he did and that's how it is

hey dnich, that's the lamest thing i've ever heard. you blame losing to drinking some freaking pepsi before the game. man, that's just pathetic. and it's your fault for not getting enough sleep on game day. don't go blaming your loss on that shiz. maybe you lost b/c, i dunno, maybe you didn't play as good as fairview. go cry somewhere else buddy. and as for the cards, it happens. we're an aggressive team, so cards aren't going to be a big deal. it's not like we went around clothes lining guys or body slamming them. all we did was slide tackle. so deal with it.

what age group did tnfc win in?

ok, you're right. these teams aren't the greatest thing either. i'm sure that a player with infinite knowledge of the game and outstanding skill might find these teams inferior to your greatness. but you can't expect a team like fairview who's soccer program has just started winning games to move up the ladder into tougher divisions and play state championship teams. you don't have to play teams like that to get better. to win at page or columbia academy this year would be incredible b/c we've always lost pretty badly to them, and that would show a huge sign of improvement.

Hey chskicker, no we're not some div II. team or anything, so those teams like father ryan and brentwood would most likely kill us. just b/c we don't play in divisions and groups like that doesn't mean we don't have good players on the team. we've never said we were a team like brentwood. all we've said is that this year we'll be able to handle ourselves better than last year, in our division. we're not out to take state, all we want to do is prove that we can play with the guys in our division, which we can and will.

Ok, i think fairview has a lot of potential to be a decent, winning team this season. the players are really pumped about it, and the new coach as far as i can tell is going to work out well. but the team is going to have to work out a lot of things with themselves. the team is very divided. everyone's always bagging on each other, even here in the boards. that will prevent the team from playing together well in games. next, not everyone is as focused as they should be. too many people are on the team for kicks, no pun intended. they just want the training for football. they need to realize that well, soccer is better than football for one(no offense)and next that soccer is the sport at the time and that should be all they're thinking about. there are a few that are really dedicated to the sport in every way they can be. maybe once these problems are worked out the team will start performing at a much newer, much better level.
