I agree, I believe that Rutherford County does a great job with Middle School programs. Christiana will field a football team next year. Should be interesting to see how that will effect the rest of the Rutherford County teams.

Just as soon as I hear some of the players, I'll let you know, but I do think they are better than Wilson Central right now.

I don't think it's a bad idea. It gives players and coaches a chance to vacation and get away with family.

Men, you've got to leave those little girls alone during football season. I know Coach Thomas and I'm sure he'll do a good job with them, but I just think they are low on talent. Now that's not fair. Let me say, they are low on talent when competing in this region. I'm sure they could be a great 4A school and probably win a couple of other regions in 5A.

That must have been wierd. Practicing with one school and attending another. I knew it hadn't opened, I just lost my mind for a minute.

What does there schedule look like?

So the kids are still in Oakland (or were when schools was still in) and going through Spring Practice at Siegal.

And he will be a senior this coming year? What about any juniors this coming year from Oakland?

Rhett Parker? I've never heard of him. Which doesn't mean anything!!!! Did he play for Oakland last year?

Lebanon may have problems. If they lost that many coaches last year and a couple of football coaches left the year before that (Coach Marshall to Oakland), there could be serious problems with the principals and coaches. Maybe the principals don't want Lebanon High School to be an athletic factory. As hard as it is to believe, there are principals that are very Anti-athletics.

Saying that you guys are expecting the playoffs got me to thinking: Do any of you guys think there is any team out there in Tennessee 1A to 5A that believes that they cannot make the playoffs? Carlos Crawford (RB Oakland)? or a surprise pick? Jarden Ebalaroza (QB Oakland)? Tre Dalton (RB Riverdale)? What do you guys think?

Camden is a wonderful place. Real close to the Kentucky Lake. Over the past couple of years they haven't had the best talent, but have found ways to win a couple of games. To be honest... they won't beat Huntington. Huntington is primed to make a run for the 2A title this year. It could be the Mustangs year!

I'm excited for Siegal. I can't wait to see a depth chart and see how many names we recognize from other programs around Murfreesboro. Should be fun. Any news on the progress of the stadium? Does it look like home will be at MTSU?

I read somewhere that Lebanon was returning a high number of starters and could be vie for a playoff spot. I thought Blackman lost a bunch of quality seniors. I figured this year would be a down year for them.

Any older guys? I figured some of the guys that weren't starting for Blackman and Oakland would jump ship to Siegal where they could get a chance to play.

I agree! I think Echols can be a star on the 5A ranks, he is very impressive and seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

I wasn't trying to be disrespectful, I was just wondering how back to back Clinic Bowl appearances wasn't dominating. I figure every team in Tennessee would love to appear back to back in the Clinic Bowl even if they were considered to be struggling.
