Has anyone in this district had any scrimmages lately? Portland scrimmages Westmoreland this afternoon at 4:00.

Portland stopmed them for the 1st four innings. It was 11-1 after 4. But Portland's pitcher started having some control problems and it provided some excitement. Final score was 11-9 Portland. Should never have g one past 5 innings.....Macon Co had a lot of fight in them I'll give them that. It was a great comeback. Good thing we jumped out ahead far enough, if we had lost that big of a lead and ended up losing it would have been demoralizing. Way to fight back Macon Co. See you in district tournaments

Pitching is great, had trouble getting the bats going at the Hendersonville pre season tourney. Should improve though. 8AA will be fun

Who does everyone in 8AA play on opening day, which i THINK is Monday the 15? We (Portland) open up with Sycamore. Also, how have the 8AA teams done in scrimmages?

Being from the great state of Ohio, it is absolutely life and death that I have a Buckeye stuck in the finger hole of my glove that I don't use because I leave my index finger outside the glove. I can not take the field otherwise! Go OSU!!!
