  1. well, inlike all the ppl on here posting i think that this will be a close game because of the defense. i think that if the Cougs can show and play better, they have a shot at winning by a touchdown. if they don't i see Science Hill's 2nd and 3rd teams in in the 4th quarter. better show up and not make any mistakes Cougs.
  2. Maybe Campbell County and Karns are on the rise?? would that make any sense??
  3. just ignore him folks and he will shut up, let's talk about the game instead of a stupid thing like that. Science Hill would kill Cloudland to say the least.
  4. no kicker i ain't a QB, y would you say so? i don't even play football, i'm just a student at CCHS.
  5. i know that if you look on paper this game is not pretty, but do you think that if CC gets a couple of turnovers and doesn't give the ball up themselves that they can have a shot at beating Science Hill?
  6. i only have one thing to say...Campbell County is better than previous years and it is beginning to show. You can't knock a team for their previous records. Campbell County finally seems to be on the rise.
  7. correction, the score was actually 14-6, but congrats to the Cougs to a good game against the Bulldogs of Bearden. Ya'll proved that Campbell County is a good football team if they can stay away from mistakes. Now let's take it to Science Hill at our homecoming!!

  12. ok sgocougs73 i am rooting for Campbell County to win this game. I was impressed by the defense of the cougs at scott county. i was not impressed however by the fact that the offense only scored twice against scott county when they had many other opputunities to win. i don't let my team get to my head. i think that turnovers will kill us again this week and we lose by a touchdown. i hope that that does not happen but i think that from what i have seen in other games it will. if we win this game it will take some turnovers from SCHS thanx
  13. hey, my key for this game is that Campbell County has to refrain from turnovers and Chris Johnson has to play and be effective at that. I have heard that he has a bad high ankle sprain instead of a broken ankle but i have had an ankle sprain over the summer and i could run after a week but i dunno about try to play football and take hits on it all night. Johnson playing effectively at safety is one of the keys because when Jeffers got that big run one of Campbell County's starting defensive ends was out taking a breather and Johnson was getting his ankle taped up. From what i heard the run was to that ends side and without Johnson at safety then the play was up for grabs in the secondary. i would probably say that Campbell County fights hard and probably loses by a touchdown but i will be there pulling for my COUGARS!!!
  14. nope, he broke his ankle in the Scott game and will probably be out for the season :justwrestle: but campbell county has other flashes that can also run good
  15. Thank you very much sunshine. I have said that all week on here because if you trash talk a team then you are much more likely to go in with your heads up. I think in my opinion that Campbell County was a much better football team, but like i said in an earlier post, turnovers would be the key. Campbell County failed to capitalize on Scott's first turnover and it came back at them late in the game. I will say though that my hat goes off to the Campbell County defense. You all did give them a taste of 5A football. You all did a good job at stopping Jordan Jeffers except for the one big run and from what i saw one of CC's starting defensive ends was out taking a breather on that play. The only weakness i saw all night for CC was that their DB's weren't sticking with Scott's WR and if Jeffers would lay it over the DB then he could get a big completion. I still don't know if that 20 yards touchdown pass at the end of the game was in or not, but that is not something worth argueing about. I would like for the Campbell County players to tell me what Coach Wells was thinking by going for 2 after their 2nd touchdown when Scott missed their extra point too on their first touchdown?
  16. what do you all think? i think that the team that makes the least mistakes wins by a touchdown not quoting a score
  17. i think this game will go to the team that makes the least mistakes. 21-14 with whichever team that makes the least mistakes winning.
  18. all i can go by is what i see at games and hear on the radio. i have seen some of the pitches go for chunks of 10 yards and then they get hit. There is a lot of players that would be willing to take that hit many times over for the team to get the touchdowns. I hope that we go in there and beat the living crap out of the highlanders. i hope that the Jellico scoreboard is reversed with CC on top but i will see it when it happens. i'm just not getting my head too far in the air because i don't wanna get it jerked down as fast as it got up there with two wins for my school.
  19. I'm glad that some players from Campbell County's team have finally discovered coacht because there is a lot of information on here about teams. I'm not going to call anybody anything for not playing football but i think that for Campbell County to be a competitive team for the playoff spots in the region they have to STOP the bleading of players to AC. My brother-in-law played for CC and his opinion is that the coaches that he played under had almost stopped the bleading to AC but politics put them out. In my opinion that is probably one of the biggest problems that CC has. I will agree though that Coach Wells is doing a good job of getting the CC players up for the games and ready to win when they have a chance. I hope that CC has a great season this year but the key is to stay injury free in the key positions. I love to see how the Knoxville New Sentinel respected CC after the win over Clinton by picking the 0-3 at the time South-Doyle Cherokees over CC by 2?? At least they were proved wrong. I'm not going to argue over the Seal point so don't even start.
  20. i think Chris Johnson the sophomore from Campbell County did an excellent job against South-Doyle-237 yards rushing
  21. well, i am from campbell county but i don't play football and i have enjoyed the ride over the last 2 games. I don't know who will win this game because these teams that Scott County has beat the crap out of aren't neccessarily the best teams in Tennessee. Jellico, Claiborne County, and Kingston?? what is up with that. The only thing that i worry about for Campbell County is that they will not be able to play the option of Scott very well because i know from what i heard from the game when South-Doyle ran the option they were pretty successful with it. I do know that on offense Campbell County can use Chris Johnson for the running game and Chris Smith at reciever so that is also dangerous. I would say that Campbell County ruins Scott County's homecoming game in a very close game and a big offense play wins the game late for Campbell County
  22. i know that you all don't know the name well right now because he plays for Campbell County which is always the team that everyone beats, but Chris Johnson is the starting tailback and safety for the Cougars and he is just a sophomore.
  23. i don't think that they have scored a point so far but South-Doyle fans correct me if i am wrong. Campbell County scored their first offensive touchdown in the game with Clinton so who knows.
  24. who do you all think will win in this region game between probably the two weakest teams in Region 1 5A?
