Does anyone know the schedule for the Best of the West tournament, or a site that would tell?

I havent said anything negative about USJ, and believe they are a great team but for you to act like we havent played anybody and USJ has been outplayed by great teams is weird. Seeing as how we beat Henry County and USJ tied them. Sure we tied JCM but that game was ended at half time and to say that we didnt have the upper hand in that game would be a lie. Dyersburg and Henry County arent bad teams, so try to get over your misplaced anger of losing your last few games.

I'd also like to think Ryan for not jumping down our throats and hes the first person I've seen to give us any credit this year. Haywood and Northside this coming week, those will be good games.

Oh that sucks, I still dont see why soccerinfo.com doesnt look at strength of schedule because the fact that USJ lost a few in a row to really good teams shouldnt cause them to drop below decent teams who play easy schedules.

Dude no way can we be blamed for that. We kept starters out the whole game, I played a combined 5 minutes the whole game. I realize it looks bad but we didnt keep our starters in and just tried to kill them, our JV played more minutes then the starting team by far and Im pretty sure our JV has more minutes then us starters this whole season. Believe me, Coach takes starters out after we go up by 5, but he does want everyone on the team to feel some joy out of getting a goal. most of our players that scored had never gotten a goal in high school, and believe me, we could of done WAY worse.

Dont really know how to follow a post of something like losing to Ridgeway in overtime. Thats pretty good though, and good luck in your game Thursday. I see Haywood has moved up to 5th or whatever. In a showing of common opponents we beat Crocket County 6-0 today and they beat them 7-1 so its all a matter of how you look at it. Im sure it will be a good game and most teams that have played both of us call us even. What happened to USJ? I didnt even see them in the top 11. This isnt to be disrespectful, just a serious question.

Yeah last year we were, but they've obviously improved this year in some way. We'll have to play them and see how the outcome goes.

Yeah Westview's game with JCM got cancelled at the half tied 1-1. I'm pretty sure we'd of dominated the second half cause of our depth and the fact that they had started walking. Oh well, Ripley went down like 16-0 today. Like 11 of those goals were scored by our B and C team and I think we had 12 or 13 different people score. Many of there players believed we were better then Haywood and there Coach called us about even. We'll see in a few weeks though.

Well they got our games up there, I dont think they acknowledge the fact we beat TCA.... not a big game or anything, but i sent the an email telling them we beat Dyersburg. We'll see though

Whscap and I play for Westview, and I do agree that those rankings aren't too great. Just by strength of schedule as of now, we should be ahead of Haywood. Beating teams like Ripley by 11 isnt too great of an accomplishment. Oh well, we got two games with Haywood this year and we'll see.... Two days till JCM though... watch it. I'll continue to say we'll get our respect sooner or later.

How do you get ranked 11th in state beating teams like Ripley? I looked at the teams they have played a little bit more closely and even with the blowouts, they havent played anyone. Has anyone seen them play, or can anyone verify that they are actually good? :confused:

Hey whscap..... we might need to prepare for Haywood a little bit this year. They are ranked 11th and seem to be having there way with teams. Maybe they leave starters in and try to embarass teams, or maybe they are that good. We got them coming up semi-soon so lets keep this going. JCM gets to see the "new" Westview in 4 days.

Yeah it felt good until I played Dyersburg. Oh well, would of loved to of seen the score if I had actually played. 4-2 isnt so shabby though.

Westview beat Henry County yesterday 2-1 and that goal was kinda cheap..... maybe we are better then ya'll expect.

Im happy to see the big heads of JC come out and join together in one post. Ya'll seem to think ya'll are just gonna roll over us. You might win but i doubt its by more then 10. When was JC ranked #1 in the state this year anyways?

Now that Gibson County is out, I dont see anything stopping Westview besides Westview. I dont see any other teams standing toe-to-toe with Cavin, Fuqua, Selena, and Reynolds. Westview has the skill and depth to take the tournament and finally shut Jackson County up. As long as they continue to play solid, I believe we have the best chance to win.

Im not too good at remembering who guarded me no offense. I know I never had much luck against the USJ defense like I did other teams that tried to man up on me. I think i've gained a lil bit more speed and do you have any idea how ya'lls defense is gonna look this year Trell?

Kinda cool that im remembered? maybe..., but im not big on talking all types of trash about games or opponents. I am going to say that Westview is a better team this year then probably ever before and we have way more depth then ever before. Our new players bring a whole new threat and I think we'll give USJ a real good game.
