Henry County jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the top of the first but gave up 3 runs in the bottom of the inning. But Pratt stepped his game up and shut DC down the rest of the way.
In the second game Gibson County jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second. In the third, starting fist baseman, Nick Stutzman, injured his knee husteling out a infield single. But backup first baseman Matt Adams came in and picked up the slack by lining a two out double in the next inning to start a 2 out - 5 run rally to put the game away. Stutzman has to go for an MRI sometime this week but they think he just tore his MCL and will be back in 4-6 weeks depending on the report.
Both Henry County pictchers came out and pretty much shut down the opposing teams.
