well i have heard names, but they weren't from official sources, so i don't want to say anything until its been confirmed.

there are only 2 being suspended from rhea county according the the front page here on coacht.

i agree, although i think the fact that the scoreboard was out contributed to it a lot, the fact that we though we would have another play after the incompletion to cooper...and then to have them put the ball down like there was time left, then change their minds...that just fanned the flames and from there all heck broke loose. there is no place in sports for what took place after the game, period.

mikebleedsblue- i took my previous post off because it was very immature, here is what i meant to say i am from rhea co. and was at the game, i'm honestly sorry about the kid that got hurt and hope he turns out ok. the post game events were in fact very disappointing.

no, the numbers after the schools are their region records...i have no idea why he has cleveland with a 2-2 record though, since they are 5-0 and have already wrapped up the region title...

red bank closes the season @east ridge, and home vs. central...i'm not so sure i'd pencil them in that last playoff spot...they probably have the toughest road to the post season in these last two weeks. i doubt they will win out, but who knows what could happen, this region is impossible to predict.

if central does beat hixson, it won't be by any 3 touchdowns. hixson is a good football team, and peaking at the right time. this should be a close game...in my opinion.

i'm with mnewballer on this one. i think we are probably going to be the favorites, but...this region is VERY unpredictable...it has been for a few years now it seems. but its more fun that way, now isn't it.

actually, i think that with rhea beating central friday, it leaves everyone with a shot at the playoffs, at least mathmatically. this friday will determine a lot regarding who makes it, and halloween night will be huge for this region. should be a lot of fun.

rhea county made the plays they needed to when they needed them. central is a very good team, but rhea is not as bad as their record shows. they finally put 4 quarters together and showed what they can do. good luck to both teams.

unfortunately, i have to agree with you all. red bank played extremely well last night and deserved to beat us. it just looked like you guys wanted to win more, heck, it didn't even look like we wanted to be there. congratulations and good luck the rest of the way.

the rhea county-nashville glencliff game is on both teams schedules twice, could you take one of them off please? thanks.

after seeing both teams play this year as a rhea county fan, i'm not sure this will be such a soddy daisy blowout as everyone is predicting. maybe soddy did have a bad game against us, but judging from that game and our win over hixson last week, i'd say this could be a lot closer than expected. hixson has a lot of speed and that could hurt soddy. but soddy has a good passing game and that could hurt hixson, i don't know who will win but i think it will be close, if hixson elimnates the mistakes. good luck to both teams.

andykellysfan, i too am a rhea county fan, i graduated from there and support all of their teams. i don't mind supporting them and such, however, some of your comments are a bit far fetched. sure rhea is better than they have played, but they have also played two very good teams, and face another this week. all i ask is that you not make such extreme statements, be a little realistic. i do think that we have a shot at beating soddy, but it surely will not be a blowout...no hard feelings andykellysfan.

i'm not sure, its just what i was told...one of reggie's friends was telling me about it during the game and i didn't really follow what he was saying, all i know is he didn't get to play but i would imagine he'll be in action this friday at home vs. hendersonville.

reggie moore did not play, because of some technicality with his phone not being turned off or still in his mom's name or something over in meigs county. from what i heard, the coaches found out moments before the game that he was not allowed to play.i really don't understand why he couldn't play but i know that it was quite bush league. rhea obviously missed his play at linebacker, and had trouble with stopping the run most of the night. lets hope that everything gets straightened out by next week so that he can play...for his sake and the team's.

as seen in an earlier post... jefferson county jumped out to a 19-0 lead before rhea cut it to 19-13 at the end of the 3rd quarter...then the patriots got a long touchdown run from jennings 1 minute into the 4th,and that appeared to be the nail in the coffin for rhea. another late touchdown made this seem like much more of a blowout than it really was, jefferson owned the 1st quarter and about 7 minutes of the second, rhea dominated the 3rd, and the 4th was all patriots. good luck to both teams the rest of the year.

andykellysfan- please stop making such ridiculous posts and predictions, nobody is going to beat cleveland 57-3...and, who cares if nobody is talking about rhea county, its not that surprising if you think about it, rhea lost a lot from last year. anyway, preseason/early season polls don't matter one bit.
