  1. Rahdika will do great. She is a great coach and a great person......
  2. I just meant that is when they made their decision. They announced it last week. It was not "common knowledge" because no one knew if she would transfer for sure or not. Lots of rumors get started on coacht, some come true, some dont, ya know what I mean?
  3. The decision was made this week. So no one knew until yesterday. I knew that someone would start making accusations. Congrats Muffin! you are the first, can't say that I am surprised.
  4. Go Lady Buffaloes! We could debate tradition all night long....no one can deny that these two teams are ROYALTY when it comes to Class A Basketball.
  5. Bradford is back. I hope we are ready. Bradford looked sharp against Middleton. We were sloppy against Oz. Too hard to predict which way this could go. Should be a great game....Go Lady Buffaloes.
  6. I agree. Didn't see Wayne County, but they are playing great right now. Bradford played very good and they'll be tough. Should be good games Friday. Go Lady Buffaloes!
  7. Congrats Forrest on a great year. AuntKim- you make CoachT fun....
  8. Congrats to all teams... AuntKim- congrats on another trip to the 'Boro. Good luck to your girls. It would not be a good tournament without you. Forrest has a tough first round matchup. JamieRoper - I am sorry you guys got put out. Gliden should be a Miss Basketball finalist (not that the others should not). She will be a big time player at Tech. Wayne County is playing better than anyone right now. Bradford returns to the tournament after falling off the radar the past few years. Middleton is the team no one knows anything about. Wartburg is making it's first trip. Congrats neighbors. They may be a sleeper. Oliver Springs has probably one of the best players to ever play for the Lady Bobcats. Christopher put us out last year. Hoping for revenge.... Jackson County has to be the favorite for the Gold, but GO LADY BUFFALOES! see you guys tommorrow.....
  9. Are you saying that our cheerleaders were using "vulgarities?" My wife is the cheer coach and I dare you to say that our girls were saying bad stuff...don't be downing our girls and don't question our class. Class might be defined as following a sportsmanship creed you have posted in your own gym. Some of our fans may have been hot, but from what I hear, so were yours. Thats ball sometimes. As for the continued attacks on our players...they are eliminated, they have moved on, they'll have motivation as a team for next year. No one has said you guys had a bad team. I said that this would be one of their hardest games of the year for York. It was a huge challenge and we did not get it done. Refs do not make a 21 point difference. The #10 and #32 that you guys have been talking about are good girls and they should not be bashed by a bunch of cowards hiding behind fictitous names. No need to be tossing out rumors of cheap shots, etc. As far as this thread, SOME McMinn Central fans have made themselves look like a bunch of fools by starting a huge arguement by bringing up the officiating and the game when they could have just celebrated their team and the win. What is the point in rubbing this in Yorks face? Your just making yourselves look bad and wanting people to see your team get beat.
  10. "YOU" are the one who needs to learn respect as indicated by your initial post. Congrats to McMinn Central for their win. Good luck at state, but YOU need to chill out and not disrespect York fans before they have even said a word about this game. You started the discussion about the refs, not us.
  11. "don't go there"??? "never seen defense like you saw tonight"??? Be proud, not cocky.......
  12. Jimbo, if they both make it to state, they would automatically be in oposite brackets, right? Or have they changed it this year? (curious..) The Chattanooga representatives may be better than we think. Grace is out.
  13. He got it, but RBS put up a great fight. Congrats!
  14. Congrats to Smith County on a great year. Hate to hear they went out like that. Can anyone give me any info on the 8A coach that is suspended? Is it Coach Agee at Gordonsville? And why?
  15. Regardless (and hopefully he gets 901!), this is a huge milestone.
  16. Coach Rogers will attempt to get win #900 during the tournaments. He has been at Clarkrange 31 years, averaging 29 wins per season. That's pretty good. He will get his first shot at 900 in district semi's vs. Monterey-RBS winner.
  17. My opinion does not represent Clarkrange, it is just my opinion, just like tiggerbaby stated. Why would anyone be banned from this site for stating their opinions? I do realize the players are kids. I try to keep that in mind. DF - I do not care if my statements are "unforgivable" in your eyes devilfanatic. I would be curious to see out of all the post you have made on CoachT how many I would consider unforgivable, like you would care...and likewise. Involvement, give me a break. We are all entitled to our opinions. I enjoy listening. I liked the mention about the storm victims. Ball takes second to this. We should all try to find ways to help these people. We are working on sending some stuff to them from where I work. Maybe we can do something during tournaments. Great article in the Tennessean today about Macon County basketball. Props to Cannon County for what they've done. That's awsome. Even though we like to bicker and fuss, we do share the basketball bond and are kinda like a big disfunctional family (like when someone from other areas of the state tries to say they are the best...we all get defensive.) I alo agree that talking about this is like beating a dead horse..it stinks, but it ain't worth the effort. I assure you wildstang, my apollogy was/is authentic, I do not really want to offend anyone. Just running my mouth. May have been a little harsh. Last post- see you guys in Livingston. Might even get a rematch with ya.
  18. Sorry if I offended anyone. It is easy to loose respect when JC fans trash you for stating your opinion ( a liar??, where have I told a lie??). And I know that I am no one anyone would care about, at least not when it comes to what I think about Jackson County. I care, thats all that matters. There is more to this story than you guys are dishing out. Thats fine. I can't prove anything, nor do I want to, what would it matter. I agree that we should move on and just play ball. Sorry I posted my feelings about this topic. (Calling me a liar, etc., those are fighting words - stay cool please).
  19. Out of respect for GottaLuvIt, no offense towards any of those ladies that have worked their way up through that proram. I have watched the Anderson girl for 4 years now and she has progressed into a good player. Same with the Maxwell girl. Watched them grow up and make fine players. I hope they get to play at the next level. Sorry if I disrepected them. I should have worded it to say that I have lost respect for Brown and Leonard through this process. (even though she is young). Brown being the staple of the team, has made me loose respect for the program, but not necessarily individuals within it. Dyer is another great player...alot of repect for her. The Leonard case is much different than Poe or Radhika (both fine players). Radhika came during her freshman year. Poe had to choose between Sunbright and Clarkrange, and came in elementary school. From where she lived, it was about the same distance. When you have a successful program, you will have players want to play for your team. That is not to hard to figure that out. Anyone that thinks the case with Leonards transfer to Jackson County was 100% pure and innocent is wrong. We all know it. SYD- I agree that it is a game about kids, but I do not feel it is appropriate to teach our kids to break the rules to find the best opportunity. I will take your advise, I do need to grow up and ease up sometimes, but I am passionate about our teams and want to see them do well, so sometimes I get a little worked up.
  20. Is there any question that Leonard was recruited to Jackson County? The mother was even quoted in the Tennessean as saying she had spoken with Coach Brown before her daughters transfer. correct? My understanding was that according to the TSSAA, coaches are prohibited from speaking to athletes about moving to their school to participate in sports. Is that right? My opinion is that Jackson County tarnished the fairness of the game, kinda like steroids and baseball. Nothing will be done to those guys and nothing has been done to Coach Brown. There were even articles in the Cookevile paper about these alligations, which I believe to be true. If I could have voted, I would not have voted for Brown because of this. I would also not have voted for Leonard, because even though she is young, I feel she violated rules. Maybe others share my opinion. I just don't respect Jackson County anymore. I doubt if Options86 cares who forgives and who doesn't. He/she was making a point. I did not like the comment about Tasha either. It was tacky. Anyways, congrats to the winners, MVP, Coach and all. Good luck to everyone in tournaments.
  21. Coach of the Year was Lamar Rogers from Clarkrange. MVP - Tasha Phillips, Clarkrange Congrats! If anyone has the complete list. Please post it.
