Wow! 315 wrestlers are registered for this weekend’s Freshmen/Sophomore State Tournament at Father Ryan High School. If you are interested in working a mat-side table, please contact Sheree Felix at s.felix@prodigy.net. There are two shifts available to work. There will be 6 mats, so we need 24 workers for each shift. First Shift – 8:30 am to 2pm Second Shift – 2 pm to close If you work a table, we will feed you! Thank you, Sheree Felix

Father Ryan will staff the concessions stand. We need volunteers to help work the gate, registration, weigh-ins, head table and mat tables. The website www.themat.com has good Olympic coverage. Their home page has a link that will give you access to the wrestling schedule, NBC Broadcast Schedule, etc.

KKW, Sundancer is correct, the Franklin coaches decided early in the day who would sit matside during the matches. All 3 coaches at FHS assume responsibility for their wrestlers and the success of our program. I encourage you to call Coach Hill and confirm that we have 3 coaches and there were only 2 chairs matside. They were forced to alternate between the 2 matches. If you have time, go ahead and ask Coach Hill about the 3 cautions. I'm sure he's had time to watch the tape by now. Sheree Felix

I'm paying for a COACHT PLUS+ subscription, but unable to access the Wrestling Message Board. We are in the middle of Freestlye season, so don't tell me wrestling is out-of-season.
