The bottom line is that the Peabody Girls won the game and their fans have much more class than Gleason. That was a dirty foul by #31. Make all the excuses you want, but when Peabody's girls play someone it always brings out the best of their opponent because you are always looking up to them. When Peabody loses or gets put in a tough district they just play and not whine to the TSSAA.

It should be a great game. I'm looking forward to watching it. Whoever wins, I hope they win it all.

The game between Haywood and Trenton will be played one day next week if possible.

I just wanted to say congratulations to the Lady Tide on their State Championship. You are a family which it takes to be a championship team. Another squad that I got to know at Murfreesboro is Huntingdon. You have some outstanding kids that you should be proud of. It was my privilage to get to know them. An athletic team is more than just playing the game, it is being a family that cares for each other and has respect for themselves and others. Good luck to both of you next year and hopefully we will play each other in the final game at Murfreesboro. Lets keep that Gold Ball in West Tennessee.

Greenfield is extreamly well coached and play very hard. They have some kids that can hit the three and if you're not ready they will back door you all night. No one can count on a win just by showing up against this team. They aren't the most talented team in the area but they more than make up for it by the way they go about it. I don't know how they will do but I wouldn't be suprised to see them on Saturday March 22nd.

Great job Lady Tide! Losing six seniors last year didn't effect you. They paved the way for the youngsters. With no seniors on this years team we are looking for even more good things to come. Coach Patterson and squad did a great job. Whatever happens next, we thank you for the ride that you have given us.

I think you have a very athletic team that could be scary in the tournaments. I saw them play against Bradford and came from 12 points down in the second half. They seem to be a young group that are getting things together at the right time. Peabody better be ready on Friday night. It should be a great game to watch.
