That is who they were talking to last. He has been an assistant at Crockett County. They also were going to hire his wife as a jr. high math teacher. Last I heard they were working hard to get him. Must of made it a done deal.

Official word is....Chris Hayner was hired as the girls basketball coach. The coach they wanted for the boys turned the position down, and they are starting the interviewing process over with new and maybe some old candidates.

I really don't think either is a done deal yet, but Chris Hayner did apply for both jobs, and was very much the community choice for the girls job. He was not forced out the last time he was there, he left for another job.

Word at the school is coaches will be announced this week....possibly as early as tomorrow.

I do know for sure they have been interviewing both Girl's and Boy's coaching applicants this week, and will continue into next. There have been several people through the building, but I would not say any big surprises!!
