i don't expect a good mark for this but i think that fletch and eric should be getting a lot of college looks! i don't know their situations as far as recruitment goes but they are 2 of the most underrated players in the state! i love watching eric handle the point, he is so quick and fletch has an awesome all around game! he can take it inside and move outside and hit the jumper! good luck to GCHS the rest of the way and i hope to watch ya'll take home the hardware up here at MTSU!!

have you ever seen tyler smith from giles county play? if you have i respect your opinion but definitely disagree with ya!

after tonight i don't think any other tennessee high school baller can compare to tyler smith! he throws it down HARD!!!

it was a game for about the first 5 minutes of the first quarter after that, it was over!!

i think it is a legitimate subject because he played high school football last year and was a good player so news about him in college can still be talked about on here, just my opinion. if not i would like coacht to let me know.

i would like to let everyone know that the only assistance he got in high school was the same assistance any other kid that did LEGITIMATELY have a learning disability got! his grades were never tampered with! if they were then why would he have been taking summer school classes?? dude, im sure you have no real evidence that what you are saying is true and i know for a fact that he never got any special assistance!!

it seems to me that you are a very disgruntled person.......also it seems to me like you are "attacking" gomab kinda like he "attacks" players!? gomab has made it clear to a lot of people that don't agree with his ratings that he hasn't seen every player and that is why they may not be on his lists. he also tries to remake his lists later in the season as he seems players more. did he offend you in a personal way? i see you have only made 1 post on this name so it seems to me that you are new or have made a new screen name?! could this be to conceal your identity? :confused:

flyinpro, you have got to be kidding me? so you went and watched him a couple games and now you are such an expert? NOT AN ATHLETE? are you kidding me? i went to school with him at red bank and our freshmen year i watched him come out of the stands in the gym and dunk a basketball in wing tips and a tie on, without warming up! please when you try and say someone isn't an athlete know what you are talking about! also he was ranked as high as he was by experts that rank players for a living! are you one of them? billmorgan, UT is not gonna baby him and "make sure" he makes the grades! that idea was engrained into geralds head all through his high school career and no one realized that it's college, not high school anymore! they aren't gonna have someone there to wake him up every morning and make sure he turns his papers in! he has a great oppurtunity in front of him and needs to realize that he needs to get his "stuff" together and be responsible. i hope he can turn it around and make the grades to be able to play and make a name for himself in the future!

last year soddy didn't necessarily rely on bj, it just seemed like they did cuz they never got the bats goin! if their bats could have gotten hot and their defense would have stepped up then they could have relied on bj more! bj did everything he could, i can't remember how many of his losses were by 1 or 2 runs cuz the defense couldn't get anyone out! this year soddy should be better than last year cuz the younger guys that are steppin in this year, watched the seniors last year blow the season on error after error. a lil news to picasso, if you knew ultimatefan's sons you would never question his parenting! they both have grown into nice young gentlemen! parkdog work 'em hard and give them advice on what they should do as far as sports go after high school! good luck to soddy this next year and work on the defense, learn from the past!

hold on a sec, i think the crazies should use this against britt but i know britt and i have talked to him about his girl and lance and the only thing he says is that it bothers him that lance is, well pretty much, being 2-faced! lance will be his friend one minute then go behind his back with his girl! also don't say britt can't take the heat cuz he took the heat pretty well last time they played and had a better game than lance. but you all should use this against him to get in his head.

everyone needs to get off his back!! im sure if playing basketball in that situation was still fun then he wouldn't have quit! it's just a sport, not life or death! tension between coach and player can sometimes hurt the players game, especially if it's bad enough to consider quitting!

can someone tell me when the next giles county game at home is? also when and where is their district tourney??

i think everyone that is critical of tyler's jump shot needs to realize he is a 6'6-6'7 sophomore!! for one thing he has no need to shoot jumpers with his height and moves down low! but he still has 2 more years to work on that mid range jumper and im sure his dad and coach holt will get him in the gym this summer and that shot will come around! good luck to tyler, keep working hard and make those critics eat their words!!
