I went to the Alcoa-AE game for the region championship and Unicoi's coach was there. They and we thought they had to play the weaker team. I thought Unicoi would have a better chance to win than we did.

I never really seen much out of Colton White in the games with Central. But I seen him play ball this summer, man he is pretty gifted. Maybe he didn't put forth much effort. But he sure looked good. Maybe this is his breakout year.

Well really Unicoi should go to state this year. I really don't see anyone who could give them a real problem. Alcoa would probably be a tough matchup for you all. I believe that you all are really going to miss Corn. If I would have to look back, he was a big part in your all's success. Shooting the three is were you all will be lacking this year. It seems like Hardin could break out and make a ton on you, but I have only seen him do it one time in summer ball. I really don't understand how you didn't beat AE, I really thought you would be able to take it to them. Maybe you all will get another chance?

Does anybody no anything about Radar? Why doesn't he see much PT? Problems with the coach or what?

There's actually 17 on the team, but 15 will dress. There is actually 6 sophmores on there.

So you are telling me you would take him over any of the players everyone has mentioned?? That would be crazy. He is in the top 10 of his grade, but not all grades. From what I have seen he isn't even the best on his team.

He's a junior, and the red beard may have to go.

Wofford was recruiting both Phil and Gabe at one time. I know they are not real powerhouses in college basketball but they are in the Southern Conference. Bolivar was the best team in the state last year, maybe one of the better in the country. If it was another team I would have been pretty dissapointed but I wasn't too impressed by too many other teams besides them, Raleigh Egypt, and Jackson North Side.

I'll agree with you that Ashworth is just size. Beau is the best player on the team. But Central is pretty loaded with talent. Size is just gonna be the only problem this year. But they will still find a way to win. And, Phil and Gabe were getting recruited by D-1 schools.

Willie Kemp even said that we looked good on tape. I believe the nerves got to our shots. There's no doubt that they were better than us. But we are a good shooting team, we just didn't make shots that day. Maybe a return and we could fair better?

I don't know why everyone has Keith Cradic so high? There are plenty of other players I would take in front of him. Justin Hess outscored him in all of their games and he didn't even start last year.

Michael Radar was pretty good. I have no clue why he didn't play last year? He played against Central only a couple of minutes and I believe had 2 or 3 three's in just a couple of minutes.

Can anybody stop him?

Well they did beat Central last year, even though Central likes to play everyone in non-conference games. But there will still be Crockett and it's not like they will be terrible. They have one of the better post players in the conference in Cody Shipley.

Whoa, I think Ike at 6'7 is a bit of a reach. As well as Rice and White. White has long arms that make you think he is that big, but thats still a big stretch. They will be pretty tough but I wouldn't count out Happy Valley or Elizabethton. Any team with Caldwell or Nave has a good chance of winning. Happy Valley had a good JV and will give Unicoi a good run. I haven't seen the transfer from Science Hill play since middle school, but he used to be the glue with Wattad and Reid. He should help though.

East has Cody Shipley and a sophmore that could be pretty good is Issac Snapp. Snapp may start this year. I really don't know about Crockett, they had a good JV last year but that lost their best player last year.

Gabe Buchanan was all-state honorable mention last year, how can he not even be on the all-region team? And to put Keith Cradic over Phil Weatherford is unbelieveable, Weatherford maybe one of the best guards around here.

Who is this great power forward? I thought Shaud Johnson was the only one coming back? I think any of the four could win it.

Volunteer will be a lot better than most people would think. Central handled them pretty easy last year but they seemed to give the good teams a tough time. Like someone said before East has Shipley, he may be one of the best big men in the conference. I watched Boone this summer and it seems like they have some pretty good shooters, they have size but I really don't know if they are physical enough. The race is really going to be between Science Hill, Central, Tenn. High, and South. But I have heard that Reid Powell is out for the year. That will hurt them a lot.

The Dye you are talking about, is that Jonathan Dye, Dedrick's little brother?

Phil Weatherford and if that kid from Alcoa is back he can fill it up.

Who has the best 1-2 combo?
