I just wanted to tell my Trousdale group don't worry, you're not losing anyone this year. Which also means next year there are no excuses!! Penny, Quinn, Junior, TT, Namiah, Carter, Jesse, Kemp, Paxton, and I did not work our tails off to give Trousdale County basketball a name for nothing. When I went to the games it looked like half the time you didn't want it. Next year remind those other 8A teams what Trousdale County basketball is really about. Champions!!

Ok Sullins does deserve MVP. Yes Austin had a heck of a tournament and scored alot of points, but that is not necessarily an MVP. An MVP hits the baskets when they're needed most, gets the big rebounds, steals, blocks, etc. Sullins had the most all-around good tournament. He hit 2 big 3's against Westmoreland to even give TC a chance in that game, and he's one of the main reasons TC beat Gordonsville until he fouled out. He does the little things that you can't see in the stat book. So if you look at all around tournament stats then you can't even argue, Sullins IS the 2004 District 8A MVP.

Don't forget about Trousdale Co. who held their own against Red Boiling. They made it a close game without one of their best players, Jesse Sullins, who will be back after Christmas. This could be a very good team in the second half of the season.
