While we were waiting for our semi-final game the other day, I really enjoyed watching Greenfield's fans. I bragged on them for several days. I enjoyed the fact that they did the cheers with their cheerleaders and actually had a few crowd cheers. I liked that they all had on the same color. They were loud throughout the whole game. I congratulate the team on making it that far. I was glad they defeated University High.

How do they determine the brackets for the state tournament?

sitting from where i was, he said, to his son, "What did they say to you?" The problem was it was already a volitale situation and everybody jumped the gun in order to prevent a worse situation. Tempers were flaring. That was not the first time words had been exchanged in that area that night, so I'm really not surprised that someone was thrown out.

I didn't get to go to that sub-state game, but if I understand correctly, they asked fans from both teams to watch to game on TV in classrooms. I know I would have been hard pressed to not be in the gym, so I am sure there were several from both teams who refused. Even though Cosby's gym is one of the larger ones in Class A, I know it will still be packed and we don't have the closed circuit tv system. I think I'm going to go stake out my seat when the bell rings at 3:00. GO COSBY!

Yeah, Valentine was a senior last year. We really don't know who's going to pitch right now. We have a few potentials. We also had a change in the coaching staff. One of the coaches was Valentine's father, and he left with her. Our coaches really haven't gotten a good look at the team because at least three play basketball and we are currently contenders for a state berth in that sport. Our first game is next Tuesday against North Greene, so we'll see how things shape up then. Go Eagles!

Cosby has had a tight defense lately, but are defintely riding high right now. If they stay pumped, I think anything can happen. Should be a good game either way.

I realized my mistake as soon as I hit send. Thanks. I'd love to see a Greenback-Cosby rematch. I know District 4 is stronger than 3, so that really surprises me that Greenback won.

Cosby came out strong against Sunbright tonight and ended the game 66-51. I know Harriman and Oneida also won their games. Anyone know the Midway-Wartburg results? Go Eagles!

Glad to see a positive comment about Cosby softball. We lost a tight group of seniors (5 or 6 who had played together since tee ball) last year. There was even some rumors going that we wouldn't even have a team. The coach told me we had quite a few talented freshmen and sophomore girls come out, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how the season shapes up.
