We play them on this coming Thursday, the game was postponed due to t-storms

Can someone please explain the rule to me. I always took it if you got to the ball first, then it is a clean physical play, but, myself included, I have seen player from both sides of the ball be called for fouls and the ref has called it for being to aggresive, or to hard.

Kingston is a well rounded team, but the only stand outs I was able to see was there center mid. But they are very beatable with weak spots all around, we could have played much better than we did to beat them but thats what we are working on for future games. Good luck to your team.

Read it and it was a great post. But did YOU read the other posts discussing those two games? The ones that tried to put those scored into context to try to explain that we did act responsibly. I know this is a hot topic so I'm going to ask this. You feel very strongly about this and that is great. But what do you do the other 70 minutes of the game? You said not to run up the score-stop at something reasonable 5-6-right? Okay when its 5-0 with 70 minutes left-WHAT do you do with the rest of the time when its a district game not a fluff game? It can be easy to judgetand make comments but can you tell me constructively what to do with the other 70 minutes of a game.

With some of the teams running up the score is not hard to do, but like was said earlier put your j.v. and get some of the younger guys some p.t.. Also you run the risk of really ticking a team off and they will no longer play the ball and will start looking to knock down players just to get something out of the game. Which runs the risk of injurying one or more of your players.

I don't think McMinn will be rated that high at the end of the season. Absolutly nothing against them. But their defense didn't look as good as I would expect out of them. I am sure though that it will be fixed soon.

While I agree on a three ref system, it would just be to hard to do. Two reasons:(1) Limited number of refs. (2) And the money for each ref. While some the bigger school or where soccer is more popular would not have a problem with it. But as for my school ,which is a bigger school, we don't get any funds what so ever and are barely able to pay two refs. And I think there is just to much of that still around to go to a 3 ref system which would be nice.

i know it may not be the loudest but norah jones, paul simon, and kenny loggins really get my blood goin.

No, I don't think its the same thing unles they have added some more teams. As for DeKalb Co., not to be harsh, unless your team has greatly improved I don't see you guys having anything but a so-so season. But goodluck to you anyway and I hope you prove me wrong.

manU721, I can understand how you feel. In four years at my highschool we have had four different coaches. Its hard going from year to year with with different styles of play and practice. but this year we hope to be different. With a very good team and a very dedicated coaching staff. no just the centerbacks played bad if it wasn't for casillias the goalie for madrid it would have been 3 or 4 to 0 jonathan woodgate is the biggest sissy i have ever seen the smallest injury he just quits he was calling for a sub THE 1ST MINUTE of the game but arsenal just stuffed 9 players in the box played defense and got a away goal

That is true about Casillias, But the two outsidebacks, seemed to me, pushed up a little too much and left the centerbacks out to dry. Reyes's shot in the opening few minutes was due to the rightback, can't remeber the name, pushing up to get involved with the offense but not getting back in time to help control the counter-attack, also could of been the wing mids fault for not shifting into the slot.

Looks like Madrid is the same ol' team. A bunch of over paid players with supersized egos. The back four for Real played terrible, the midfield played average at best and did Ronaldo even show up to the game. It just looked like the Arsenal Mids out played the All-Star line up of Real. I am picking Arsenal to advance to the next round, the only hope for Real is to find their form, if they do that then they shouldn't have a problem with the injury plagued Arsenal. But I don't see it happening.

Conditioning is very important. But is anyone workin at their physical strength. Strong leg muscles will bring u lots of speed. But not only strong legs but also A LOT of flexibility. Now a general question to all, how fast do u thinkg a soccer player should be able to run 2 miles in?

I don't think it should matter how fast you run in two miles, but rather how fast and how consistanly you can run 50yd. to 60yd. sprints.

The is a round-robin style scrimage in White County I was just wanted to know what teams are involved and who to look at.

Also two of the Bradley players were sent off with red cards. First one for poor choice of words then flipping off our fans. The second for comitting two really stupid and hard fouls.
