I think we can all agree that a coach has every right to tell a player she is not playing well or hitting well right now, and to replace her in the line-up. The coach also has a right to ask opinions from other coaches about his team and players. But if Coach A asks Coach B for an opinion and Coach B says " one of your hitters is not very good ", is it proper for Coach A to tell his player exactly what Coach B thinks about her and use this as his reason for benching her? Or should he have the guts to just do it on his own without bringing another coach into it? For you coaches out there, what would you think if you gave a private opinion to another coach and then found out he told the player what you said?
